On july the 16th I became 21 years old.
I celebrated my birthday in the biggest club of New york City The El chapo with my three bestfriends. It was only the day after that my life was turned upside down. For you to truly understand my story, I need to go back a few days. Three days to be exact.

~

July the 13th

My friends and I were sitting in a coffee shop when Jordyn started talking : "we need to do something big for your 21th birthday Justine"

"What do you have in mind ?"

That is when Alessandra got the idea  "Oh my god, we can go to The El Chapo. There is a big themed party friday."

If you ever want to party, Alessandra is your girl. She never misses a good party. With her, fun is guaranteed. Even in middle school she was the party girl in our group. And when I say our group,I mean the four of us, the inseparables. Let me introduce you to my friends.

Jordyn Simmons, I have known her for 14 years now. We met in elementary school when I moved from New Jersey to New york. She isn't one to mess with and she loves drama but don't you dare call her a drama queen.

Alessandra Camilli. We have been friends for 10 years. I met her on the first day of middle school. She has a really big heart that guys sometimes take for granted.

Last but not least. Seda Lee. She's the "newbie" of our group. She was a new student in our school in fifth grade. After hanging with us for 6 years she became a little too cocky. I guess we rubbed off on her.

Than you have me, Justine Hudson. The youngest of them all. I'm on my way to get a Psycology degree at the NYU university with Jordyn, who's in management. I got to admit I got an serious attitude problem but I swear I got it from my mother. I don't let people in easily. I've been in relationships before but never in a serious one. You could say I'm afraid to get hurt or that I'm afraid of commitment but I do not care. All I need in my life are my family, my friends. Let's be honest isn't the single life the best life ?

Let's get back to the story, shall we ?

Jordyn and I were making plans to go shopping for our outfits for friday night and Seda had already left for her afternoon art class. "Girls, the owner of The El chapo will be attending the party friday." We looked up from our phone to look at Alessandra. "Is he handsome? And super rich ?

Don't look at me like that. I wasn't the one asking that. It was Jordyn. It's always Jordyn.

Alessandra showed us a picture of him and may I say, he is indeed hansome. He has this look that I just can't describe, but me being me I had to act like he was just an average man. Believe me when I say he wasn't. He isn't. His eyes, his lips. I just couldn't describe the beauty of this man and to be honest I still can't.
"Are you done drooling Justine ?" Jordyn asked smirking

"I can assure you Jordyn, I wasn't drooling. "He isn't even that cute" My remark owned me a roll of eyes from Jordyn and a shocked expression from Alessandra. "He isn't cute ? Are you blind ? He looks like a greek god"
"He just isn't my type I guess, San" Alessandra looked at me like I just told her I had two heads and said: "He is one of a kind"
And oh boy was she right .

Thursday afternoon. Jordyn  and I met up to go shopping. We were walking in the streets of New York when Jordyn dragged me into a random store.
"Why did you drag me in here ?"
"Shhht, you know "the owner" we were talking about ?"
I nodded yes. How could I forget a face like that ?"
"Well he is here"
"What do you mean? He is here ?"
"He is sitting at  that table outside that restaurant over there"
"Jordyn don't be ridiculous, let's keep shopping. Who cares about some rich arrogant guy sitting a restaurant ?"
"How do you know he is arrogant ?"
"They all are babe, they all are.
Passing by his table Jordyn tried her best not to start giggling like a fangirl but I just kept on walking. You know that feeling you have, when you feel like somebody is looking at you ? I was right, he was looking at me . It was like he could look straight into my soul. We kept looking at each other for I don't know how long.
He was wearing this blue navy suit with black leather shoes. He looked really good. Men in suits are my weakness

"Justine ! Are you even listening ?"
"Uhm yeah sorry, keep on"
"You weren't even listening!"
She looked back to see what caused my distraction.
"You were checking him out!"
"No I wasn't, I was just a little distracted"
Jordyn didn't look so convinced by my lie but just kept on talking about that man she met in her class. While Jordyn was talking about her crush, I was thinking about him. At that moment I didn't know his name yet so I just called him "the owner". That was all I really knew about him. That he was the owner of   The El Chapo , biggest club in New York. In my head I had stereotyped him like a arrogant good-looking bachelor in NY  who doesn't talk about anything else but himself. I was expecting this egocentric man with too much money to spend and didn't do nothing to earn that money but to be daddy's boy. All those expectations, images I had of him were all wrong. He was so different than who I thought he would be. That man totally changed my life. I am not sure yet if it is a good thing or a bad thing. Who am I kidding ?
I wasn't even expecting to ever meet him.
