For now, my faith and choices are up to their decision. Whether I desperately want to change that fact or not, I'm in no position to do so.

Their role
They always want the best things in life for you. They make sure you make the right choices and don't end up being with the wrong person. Having to regret something is an horrific experience. Therefore, your parents are there.

The result
But sometime, all you ended up with is the feeling of insecurity and anxiety. You sometime ask yourself whether you could trust anyone completely.
