Sam awoke when the man carried her into a dark room. He set her down on a small mattress in the corner. She moaned as she felt the pain in her side return. The man came to her aid and grabbed a cloth to wrapped around her wound. She tried to scream from the pain but the tape over her mouth blocked her voice. He left her on the floor and exited the room.

She sat up weakened by her wound. She stared at the pool of blood that she laid in. A tear escaped her eye as a terrible thought came to her mind. She laid there knowing that her life was over after it had just begun.

Thats when she looked across the room and saw another girl lying on the ground motionless. She wasn't the only one there. Then she had hope in her mind that Tyler or Liam would go look for her. Then she remembered, Tyler was angy with her.

The man suddenly barged back into the room yelling, "You stupid girl! You made a mess in my car!" Then he slapped her across the face and whispered,"Too bad you were really pretty."

He kicked her with his hard shoes then left the room once again. Sam cried as she began to hear her heartbeat. The beat slowed its pace down and all she could think was that she needed to keep thinking.

Stay existing! You're dying but you can still just hold on! She kept telling herself.

Her eyes slowly closed as her heart and insides began to shut down from the lack of blood.

Sam opened her eyes to find herself in the same dark room. The only difference was that the pain in her stomach had dissapeared. She looked down and saw no knife wound nor blood.

Am I alive? she thought to herself.

"No you're dead Sam," said a deep voice.

"Who is that?" asked the confused girl.

A man dressed in white appeared in front on her. He gave her a warm smile and said,"I am Lewis."

"I can't be dead, I need to get back!" she screamed.

"I'm sorry sweetie but there is no way back to the living world," he said looking at her with his green eyes. "Your time there is over."

"No it can't be. There's so much I have to do. So much I haven't done," then she thought of Liam and frowned.

"You can't do that stuff anymore."

"But..."

"I'm sorry Sam but there's no way you can go back now. I'd help you if I could but there's no way. I'm sorry, you have to come with me into light where you can be safe. There's people there waiting for you. Like your grandmother."

She covered her face and began to cry. She collapsed on the ground and said, "I never got to say goodbye, and my brother Tyler hates me! Liam... oh Liam."

Lewis sighed and said, "Come on Sam. We have to go."

"No, I don't want to leave," she shouted through her hands.

"Sam you can't stay here. Evil is lurking here and there's a chance that you will be dissapated."

"What do you mean?"

"If the evil spirit is strong enough it can take you down... to the dark place," answered Lewis.

"But I can't leave not now," she sniffled.

Louis thought to himself for a moment and said, "I can give you a month to stay but after that you must come with me Sam. I can't risk anyone else getting sent down there. That girl over there," he said pointing, "is still here. She almost ran into a demon."

Sam stood up and said,"I'll be careful I promise."

Louis turned around and nodded as he dissapeared into a white light. Before he left he mouthed, "Be careful."

Sam looked around a saw her dead body. She gasped at the site. Her blood was still pouring out of her wound. She bent down and tried to touch her flesh but her hand went straight through. The door opened and her murderer slowly paced into the room.

He stepped towards her body and felt for a pulse. When he felt none he kicked her lifeless leg and whispered, "You stupid girl."

Sam roared with rage and ran towards the man, then went straight through him. For the next hour she tried her hardest kick or slap the man but no matter what she did, she could never touch him.

Night soon came and after the murderer ate his dinner he walked into an office room. Inside was a couch and an old tv that was barely working. He laid on the couch and stared at the screen until he fell asleep. Sam sat in the corner of the room and waited.

Before she had already tried to leave the warehouse but she could never find her way out. Everytime she tried she would always find herself back in the room where she died. She wished that Lewis would come back and help her but nothing happened.

Out of the corner of her eye Sam saw a dark figure passed by the door. She quickly stood up to followed it down the hallway. She saw the figure walk through a door and she walked into a bathroom right after it.

"Hello?" called out Sam. "I know I saw you come in here. I know you're a ghost too. Please don't make me be here alone."

She crept up towards the old bathroom stall. The door was wide open and Sam saw a girl with long black hair facing the tiled wall. The girl sniffled and pulled her hair in front of her face.

Sam stared at her for a moment and then said, "You're the other girl."

The ghost nodded and turned to fully reveal her face. She stared at Sam with her green eyes and said, "I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"I tried to save you, but I couldn't. I saw that evil look on his face when he killed me and..."

"It's okay. It's not your fault."

"But it is... If only I would've listened to him then maybe nothing would've happened to you," she cried.

Sam looked down at her feet and thought for a moment. She inched closer to the girl and said, "Don't worry about me. What happened to you?"

The girl turned toward Sam and said, "He took me about a month ago. I was walking home one night from my mom's bingo place. She told me that my dad would get off of work early to take me home, but I said no. So I walked. He grabbed me when I was a block away from my house. For the whole month he beated me up and made me clean after him. Last week he was going to force me to..."

Sam nodded and understood what she was trying to say.

"I told him no," she began again. "I tried running away but that's when he shot me in the back. That was the last I could remember."

The girl looked terrified as she told her story. She looked up at Sam and said, "Five days after I died he went looking for another girl. You."

Sam sighed and stared down at her shoes again.

"I can't stop thinking that if I hadn't tried running away, you'd still be alive," she cried.

Sam hugged her and said, "Don't blame yourself! We need to stop this man somehow and we only have a month to do it. Maybe less."
