Tyler read Sam's unsent message over and over again. He knew that he shouldn't have treated her the way he did. He hated the memory of when he yelled at her. Tears built up in his eyes as Jackson stepped out of the car.

"Where's Sam? Is that her phone?" asked the seven year-old.

Tyler nodded as he said, "I don't know where she is, but I need to take you home."

"No!" whined Jackson. "I wanna come with you!"

"No Jackson it's late. It's almost passed your bedtime," said Tyler stuffing his sister's phone in his pocket.

"But..."

"Don't argue with me, if she's not home in the morning you can come with me tomorrow."

Jackson pouted and went back into the car. He slammed the door shut as Tyler got into the driver's seat they buckled their seatbelts and Tyler drove Jackson home.

As they pulled up into the driveway he turned to his brother and said,"I'm sorry for yelling."

Jack looked at him and said, "I miss Sam."

"Me too Jack. Me too."

Tyler made sure that his little brother was inside safe before he turned back toward the garage.

"Where's your sister?" asked their father.

"I can't find her," answered Tyler walking into the garage.

"What are you talking about?"he asked.

"I can't find her dad!" yelled Tyler. "Something is wrong and the police won't help."

Their father panicked and grabbed his keys off the counter. He picked up his jacket and headed for the garage.

They both got into their cars and met at the edge of the driveway. Tyler rolled his window down and said,"I'll look around the neighborhood, you go look around the icecream place."

His father nodded and pulled out of the driveway. Tyler looked down at a picture of Sam and whispered, "I'm sorry sis for chasing you away.

Hours past and they still couldn't find a trace of Sam. It was already midnight when Tyler got a phone call from his father.

"Hey let's call it a night, I'm sure she'll turn up in the morning."

"No dad we can't stop looking there's something wrong and I know it!"

"Tyler I know that you're worried about your sister, I am too, but we can't find her if we don't have some rest."

"But dad..."

"Damnit Tyler! Please don't argue with me! Get home now! We'll look for her tommorrow!"

Tyler groaned and hung up the phone. He turned his car on and ran his fingers through his dark hair. His car was parked right outside an old warehouse on the edge of town. The moon was high in the sky as he pulled out his sister's picture and stared at it.

"Please come home."

Two days passed by and there was still no sign of Sam anywhere. The police couldn't find a trace of her anywhere. Not even a fingerprint on her phone.  Monday came and Tyler found Liam in his art class.

"Hey you know my sister right?" asked Tyler standing next to Liam as the bell rang.

Liam looked up at Tyler and said, "Yeah, tell her she still needs to text me."

"I can't," said Tyler looking down. "She's missing."

"What!" screamed Liam as everyone in the class room stared at him. "Since when?"

"Friday," said Tyler. "She never came home."

"But..."

"Do you know where she is?"

"No, she told me the she'd text me when she got home," said Liam panicking. "I should've walked her home."

"You didn't walk her home!" screamed Tyler.

"She told me not to," said Liam looking innocent.

"Well we know she was walking home then. Shit," said Tyler turning for the door.

"Where are you going?" asked Liam.

"I'm going to find my sister," grunted Tyler.

"Well I'm coming with you," said Liam.

Ms. Ray stood up from her chair and said,"Boys you need to stay in this classroom. Mr. Reyal I am sure that the police are doing everything they can to find Sam. Now please take a seat."

"No they're not looking for her! They're just sitting around my house drinking our coffee while she's in danger! What if she gets killed!" screamed Tyler.

"Mr. Reyal sit down!" commanded Ms. Ray. "I'm worried about Sam too! She is one of my best students! I want to go look for her too but we need to stay calm and let the police do their job!"

Tyler turned red but did as he was told and sat down in his chair. Liam sat across from him and whispered,  "We'll look for her after school."
