He felt pain on every place of his body, he groaned as his vision came back and he opened his eyes. Pitch found himself in his bedroom? The last thing he remembered was being pulled out of his lair and smelling the sweet taste of freedom before blacking out. He winced in pain as he sat up and he noticed his wounds treated. He raised his hand and felt the bandage around his head. Did someone treat his wounds while he was out of it? He gasped slightly as his bedroom door opened and he scowled as he saw the last person on earth he wanted to talk to, Jack Frost.
"Frost?! What are you doing here?!" Pitch yelled as Jack walked toward him.
"I was walking through the woods and you decided to get out of your hell hole." Jack snarky commented, making the Nightmare King frown with growl and Jack sighed. "Pitch, I'm not here to fight with you, I'm here to apologize and make things right between you and me." Jack said sincerely as Pitch shook his head in disbelief and turned away from him with his arms crossed. "Koz.." Jack started and Pitch interrupted him.
"OH NO! Don't you dare go 'Koz' on me! You knew what you were doing Frost, so don't even try to get out of it!" Pitch argued as Jack frowned.
"Pitch, I had no choice. It was the right thing to do and you know it, I couldn't let you do that to innocent people." Jack said calmly, trying to get through the Pitch's thick skull. Pitch rolls his eyes. "Pitch I know you hate me and I don't blame you, but please give me another chance?" Jack begged and Pitch refused to show any sympathy or vulnerability.
"At what, being my second in command? Not a chance." Pitch snapped and Jack smiles sadly.
"No. Another chance at loving you?" Jack admitted which made Pitch's eyes widen as he turned his head to face Jack.
"What? What did you just say?" Pitch asked completely dumbfounded and Jack sighed with regret building up in his chest for his choice of words, but he'd to tell him.
"Kozmotis, I said I want another chance at loving you. When we had that fight five years ago, I didn't mean a word I said and I'm sorry for hurting you. I was angry at your accusations and saying that was dumbest thing I've ever said. I loved being around you, I loved you. I still do, I love you Kozmotis Pitchiner Black. Please, give me another chance?" Jack confessed and begged as Pitch just stared in shock and joy. As much as he wanted to believe Jack's words, he couldn't bring himself to it and he frowned turning as head away again.
"If you think an apology and 'love' confession is going to get me to forgive you, you can stick that staff of yours up your ass!" Pitch snarled and Jack chuckled deeply, he knew Pitch would snap back in defense. He grinned and took out his little surprise for Pitch.
"How about and apology, a love confession, and a bouquet of red, white, and black roses?" Jack asked with a smirk as Pitch turned back and took the roses from Jack hands for his own, smelling their beautiful aromas. 'He's a sucker for those roses.' Jack thought and it was true, Pitch loved red, white, black roses and their meanings.
The red rose symboled an unmistakable expression of love, longing or desire. Red Roses can also be used to convey respect, admiration or devotion. A deep red rose can be used to describe heartfelt regret and sorrow. For Jack, it showed his regret for hurting him.
The white rose symboled unity, virtue, and the pureness of a new love. It also symbolizes one's true love. Jack professed his love Pitch as new and pure.
The black rose symboled death, of course, but also the start of a drastic change, loyalty and love at first site. Jack wanted to Pitch to know he will always be faithful to him.
Pitch smiled at the roses, then look at Jack as he sighed.
"Alright, Frost. Since you went through all this trouble, I'll give you a shot." Pitch said, trying not to diminish his pride and Jack smiled as he towered over him. Pitch raised an eyebrow as Jack smirked.
"I think I have more than a shot, Kozmotis." Jack whispered deeply into Pitch's ear which made him shiver as Jack caressed his cheek and gave him a kiss. A very steamy passionate, love filled kiss that made Pitch's heart melt. Jack broke the kiss and smirked. "I'll see ya later Koz, Guardian meeting in two minutes." Jack said and before Pitch could even respond he was gone. Pitch raised his hand careful, considering his wounds, and touch his lips with smile. Pitch set his bouquet in his vase of eternal water and he laid his back down onto his pillow, falling back into dreamless sleep.
