Chapter 9

Jack and North entered Pitch's room, finding the rest of the guardians inside. Tooth was pressing cold towel against Pitch's head, Sandy was watching while Bunny sat the corner of the room, looking rather pissed and heartbroken. Jack rolled his eyes at Bunny and walked toward a worried Tooth and an unconscious Pitch.

"How is he, Tooth?" Jack asked and Tooth shrugged.

"His fever went down and the yetis did an X-ray and are running some blood tests, we should get the results soon." Tooth said and Jack nodded, feeling slightly relief yet still concerned about Pitch's sickness. Then the door slammed open, the yetis were screaming about something they found in Pitch's X-ray. That's when Manny shined a bright onto Pitch's torso, which made North's eyes, and the rest of the guardians were confused.

"North, what does that mean?" Tooth asked as she flew over to him and North smiled brightly.

"We should wait for Pitch to wake up before I explain the situation, besides we need to get the welcoming party ready for our new fellow guardian." North said and the rest of the guardians nodded, North looked back at Jack. "Jack, stay here in case Pitch wakes up." Jack nodded, feeling worried for his boyfriend, he sat next to Pitch in the chair Toothiana was previously occupied, keeping a watchful eye over of the sleeping nightmare king.

About an hour later, Jack heard a groan and he gasped as he saw Pitch's eyes open slightly. Pitch's eyes felt a bit heavy as he opened them though. He smiled as he saw Jack's face.

"Hi, Jack." Pitch said softly yet lovingly as he smiled shyly and Jack smiled back

"Hey, how do you feel?" Jack said as he helped Pitch sit up and Pitch groaned a little from feeling nauseated.

"I'm fine, except for feeling nauseous." Pitch gagged a little. "How long was I out?" He asked and Jack smirked.

"For about over an hour, you gave me and the guardians quite a scare." Jack answered, making Pitch remember what had happened before he passed out and he stared Jack with disappointment.

"Jack, you didn't tell them about us being together? Did you?" Pitch questioned and Jack shook his head vigorously.

"Absolutely not, I didn't them anything." Jack said, which was true, and Pitch could sense he was telling the truth, which made he slightly confused.

"If they don't know about us, then why were they at my lair with you?" Pitch questioned and Jack smirked.

"You'll see when we go there, you ready?" Jack asked, Pitch nodded and Jack helped him out of the bed as they made their way to the Globe room. That's when they walked into the small party with a banner that said 'Welcome!' and most of the guardians smiling, you know except for Bunnymund. Jack smiled and he smiled brighter at Pitch's confusion.

"What is all of this? Jack, what the..." Pitch was interrupted by North screaming.

"Kozmotis Pitchiner Black, CONGRATULATIONS!"
Pitch was taken back a bit.

"Congratulations, on what exactly?" Pitch asked and Tooth flew toward the secret couple.

"Manny has chosen you as a new guardian." Tooth said and Pitch's eyes widen as Sandy gave Pitch two thumbs up, even though that wasn't what North meant.

"I'm a guardian, how exactly are all of you ok with this?" Bunnymund walked toward him.

"We're not all ok with this. Trust me, the last thing I want to do is work alongside of you." Bunny stayed and Pitch rolled his eyes.

"If I wasn't still nauseous, I'd drop kick you." Pitch spatted and Bunny raises a fist as he growled at Pitch.

"Why I outta..." Bunny threatened as the two men charged toward each other and Jack was keeping them apart, North shook his head with a laugh.

"Aster enough already, you can't hit a pregnant person." North said and Pitch smirked.

"That's right, you can't....wait..."

"WHAT?!" Pitch, Jack, and Bunny yelled as Tooth gasped and Sandy almost fainted, from sleep and shock. North simply laughed.

"Kozmotis, you are pregnant." North explained as Pitch started to rub his temples and he froze right in the middle of the room. "The yetis confirmed it when you were unconscious, congratulations." Pitch didn't know if his heart was going to burst out of chest, he had gotten pregnant with Jack Frost's child. Bunny was completely shocked to find out that Pitch was actually the omega in the relationship, but it also explained why the smell of a beta was stronger on Jack than an omega. As for Jack, he was absolutely in heaven. However that short lived when Tooth asked.

"Oh my, this is so exciting. I wonder who the father is?" That's when Manny decided he would shine a bright light onto Jack, making Tooth gasped. "How is that possible? Jack, how could you cheat on Bunnymund?" Sandy, North and Bunny fought the urge to facepalm while Pitch looked at Jack with confusion and Jack gulped in fear.

"Cheat on Bunnymund, Jackson what she talking about?" Pitch asked and Jack started stuttering not knowing what to say, not that he got the chance to considering Tooth said.

"Jack and Bunny started dating about four months ago." Pitch looked back at Jack who was looking down at the floor in shamefully before he looked up at Pitch.

"Jack, is that true?" Jack sighed, there was no way he could get out of this one. "Jack?" Jack solemnly nodded and Pitch gasped as tear threatened to leave his eyes. Pitch shook his head, trying hold back his tears as he took off as looked away Jack and ran of into the shadows.

"Pitch, wait!" Jack called out, the nightmare king had already disappeared and he groaned in frustration with himself. "I'll be back." Jack said and he flew up toward to the skylight as Tooth was confused about what was going on.

"What is going on? Jack, what did you do?" Tooth asked and he looked toward Bunnymund with hateful eyes.

"I made a mistake." Jack simply said and he flew out the window, trying to figure out how he was going to fix this between him and Pitch.
