Narfi had to give it to Nari, he'd assembled quite an impressive force, regardless of his methods. Narfi had managed to subdue his temper for now but still he boiled inside, something wasn't right, or was everything right and he was just realising things? He was confused and clearer than he'd ever been before, there was a conflict going in inside him. As he looked at Nari now the fire inside burned even harder but he was able to keep it under control.

Now in a huge cavern back at the main system they sat beside an underground lake, holding council. The dwarves had only been the start, light elves had followed, then Faeries in human form on behalf of the creatures of the forest.

"So you're telling me your plan of action is to attack the city and Ventatores directly with everything we have?" said one of the elves silkily, "What a novel strategy."

"Our options are limited, the Ventatores will be coming for us-"

"Because of your brother," the elf interrupted Nari.

"Watch your tongue elf lest you lose it," Narfi snarled, "Unless you haven't noticed the Ventatores have been hunting us all into extinction.."

"However you've managed to speed up those events in a cataclysmic fashion," interrupted the elf again.

"My you really dislike that tongue," laughed Narfi the rage boiling again, there were those he could go to for help that wouldn't be a smidgen as hesitant as these idiots, the city would be an icy mountain of it's shattered brick by now and the Ventatores would run in fear.

"Oh you're a feisty little god-spawn aren't you?" the elf teased patronisingly.

"Narfi forget it," Vali put a hand on his brothers chest and Narfi breathed deeply.

"What action plan do you suggest then elf?" smiled Narfi coldly.

"The dwarves tunnel from here, beneath the city and to the other side. Then we can hold up here and attack their unguarded backs once the tunnel is complete. They'll think they have us trapped in, maybe even try to wait us out, and then we'll strike unannounced right in the heart of their city," answered the elf smiling too.

"All assuming we can hold out that long," retorted Narfi.

"We will begin moving our forces along the northern mountain line and into these tunnels, that way lasting out shouldn't be a problem," smiled the elf yet again.

"Then for now we are decided?" Nari chirped before things escalated again, all replied 'aye' par Narfi, "Brother?"

"Aye," Narfi spat into the water around his response.

"Then, my friends and allies I ask that you send word to your people and have them send their forces to meet us," Nari bowed respectfully at those gathered, "Now Vali knows these tunnels better than any, he can go with the dwarves and find the tunnel most suitable. I will arrange accommodation and such for our guests and as safe a passage as I can for the others."

"I'll take a scout team," Narfi added as his older brother looked to him, "see what I can learn of our enemies and their intent."

"That's more like it," the elf said in mock exclamation.

"Good idea Narfi," Nari ignored the elf had even spoke in hope Narfi would too, it seemed to work.

"Faeries, I could use the forests help," Narfi turned to the Faeries gathered.

Flitting from the floor the male darted to him, "Always happy to help you old friend."

"Thank you Brokk, who's your friend?" Narfi nodded at the female faery with him, slender with chestnut hair and matching eyes, as faeries tended to have.
