The smile
that touched
her rosy lips,
Her eyes
that shone
with happiness,
They
made her look
at heart's content;
They
made her sparkle
among the rest.
She
made us look
so out of place;
Drowning
in our despair,
in our mess.
There were
no worries
in her brown eyes;
For she had
the world
at finger tips.
As I watched her,
as I took notice,
How I wished it
to take
her
place.
