Chapter 20: taken

It kept getting closer and closer. Me and Cole were behind a rock. "Hello?" "Anyone there?" "Lost people hello?" I think this was our time... To be rescued. Cole and I walked out from behind the rock. Suddenly, the man with the grey hair and olive skin looked at us. Then more people like that came out. They looked French or something to me because I heard them speaking French to each other silently. They had spears in their hands, and knives. They were walking closer, and closer, and closer until their whole tribe, I guess you could call it, made a small circle around me and Cole closing us in, making me feel claustrophobic. Cole got in front of me trying to guard me. Did he forget that we had powers or something? "Pierre." The guy said. He looked like he was the leader of the tribe. He had a mow hawk and part of it shaved with a necklace that had a warrior on it. "PIERRE!" He screamed at us. Cole and I looked at each other. "I don't know what that means?" He said to me. "Me either?" Then I wonder who was talking in English? There at least had to be one person that did. "Qui Es-tu." "Chasseurs secrets." They said to each other. "If your wondering what they're saying, they are saying you have the stone and you are undercover hunters." One of the younger man in the tribe said to us. "Oh ok, well we don't have it and we are not hunters!" I said. Cole nodded his head to what I was saying. "Oh, and Pierre means stone by the way." He said. He told his tribe what we were telling him. The tribe looked at us blankly. "They said you were lying." The young man said to us. "We aren't!" I yelled. Cole held me back so I wouldn't start using my powers on them. "What's your name?" I said sternly. "That isn't known to you it is only me!" He said. I rolled my eyes and threw my hands up. "Look guys, we don't have the dang stone so go somewhere else!" I said. They looked at me blankly, then suddenly, anger turned to them. "Prends-la!" The chief yelled to the guy who spoke English. "He said, to take you!" He said grabbing my arm. "Hey get your hands off her!" Cole said. I used my fire power on them and brought water in the ocean over to me to where I could lift myself up with it. "Then lava flew out of their hands." What the... Where did they get their powers from?" They tied me up and carried me with them along with Cole. Cole tried to use his freeze breath but, once he froze it over, they threatened to kill us, so he stopped for our sake. They were walking Cole and I into our prison cell, until suddenly, I remembered that special power I could do with the T sign that I made. I hope this works! I thought... If this didn't work, I don't know if we would make it out alive or get to the stone in time! I really hoped this worked.
