Slender Horror

Chapter 2

It was evening when Astral spotted a huge mansion. He floated over to it and saw a piece of paper on the stone wall surrounding it. It read:

"Always watches, no eyes."

Astral shuddered when he read it. One hand reached out to grab it, but he pulled it away. Astral knew from the games that the moment he picked that note up, Slender man would come chasing. Nevertheless, he grabbed it and ran.

Astral rushed inside the house and pulled the door shut. His breathing got rapid again, and he sat against the door. Suddenly, there was a bang at the door followed by a soft curse word. This surprised Astral, and he bolted upstairs and into one of the dark rooms. He grabbed one of the blankets inside the pack and wrapped it around his body so that none of his internal light could be seen.

"Hallow?" a voice called. It was surprisingly familiar. "Okay, nothing here." He then started to read the walls, muttering to himself.

Astral got out of the room and cautiously looked around the corner. There, his suspicions were confirmed. It was who he thought it was. Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, also known as PewDiePie, Pewdie, or Pewds.

Pewds saw something out of the corner of his eye, and he jumped and yelled a Swedish curse word out of surprise. Astral also jumped at the Swede's reaction, and he pulled back into the room to hide.

Cautious footsteps reached his ears, and Astral made sure that all of his body was covered. He trembled as Pewds looked around the room with a flashlight, which finally landed on the trembling spirit.

"Hello?" Felix called again. "Who's there?"

Astral removed some of the blanket, revealing his right eye. He knew that Pewds wouldn't hurt him, but he was still terrified.

Pewdie walked over to him. He crouched down and reached a hand out, removing the rest of  the blanket from his head. "What's your name?"

"A-Astral," he said. "I g-got separated from m-my friend. C-can you help me f-find him?"

"Of course!" the Swede said confidently with a slight french accent, just enough to be funny. He held out his hand. "Come on. Let's find him."

Astral tentatively took Pewdie's hand and got up. He took the blanket off and rolled it up. He placed it back inside the pack.

They searched around the house for anything useful. Right when Pewds looked out of a window, he looked confused.

"What the hell is that?" he muttered. Then, "OOOH! IT'S YOOOOOOOOOUUUUU!"

This startled Astral. He rushed over to the window and just glimpsed at a spot of white.

"Should we stay here?" Astral asked, his voice trembling.

"I would say yes," Pewdie said. "Slendy Sloo is out there. We need to get some stuff before we go out there."

They proceeded to close and lock the doors and windows just for a sense of security. Then, they looked for some batteries for the flashlight and food. When they found some things, they left cautiously.

"Okay, just follow me," Pewds whispered.

Astral nodded and held on to Pewdie's arm. He didn't want to get separated again.

They kept walking, occasionally looking behind them for Slender. They also looked around for any notes. Slender didn't show up for a while, and they were both grateful for that.

"Felix," Astral called, gripping Felix's shoulder. "I see a piece of paper over there."

Pewds looked over, shining the light on the white paper. Together, they made their way to the building it was on. The paper read:

"Nononononononononononononononononono..."

Right in the middle of all the writing was a sketch of Slender man. Pewds took it, and they both rushed away. When they felt that they were far enough away, they stopped.

"Why must we collect the papers?" Astral asked, looking behind him nervously.

"I honestly have no idea," Felix responded. "He just chases us when we do."

When they both turned around, they screamed in terror. Slender man was right behind them. Pewds yelled out some nonsense Swedish words, as he normally did in his videos, and they ran.

"Shitshitshitshitshitshit!" Pewdie cursed as they hurried away from Slender.

Astral looked behind, and he was terrified to see that Slender was giving chase.

"He's after us!" Astral cried. "Hurry!"

"I'm going as fast as I can!" Pewdie screamed.

They reached the shore of the place. Astral didn't even want to question why there was water. By the boat, there was another piece of paper on a tree.

"Are you ready for more chasing?" Astral asked, getting ready to take the note.

"I guess," Pewds answered.

Astral took the paper, and the running began. Felix's feet pounded on the ground as they hurried through the woods. They came across some random house and entered it quickly. Astral slammed the door shut, and they tried to calm down.

"I think that now would be a good time to sleep," Pewdie sighed.

Astral nodded in agreement and layed out the blankets. The settled down and got close for warmth and comfort.
