Chapter 6

Soon, they arrived at the cave. They entered and read the text on the walls. As expected, the whole cave suddenly flared up with fire. Astral and Pewds jumped in surprise and screamed.

"Fucking jumpscares, man!" Felix screamed.

They ran out of the cave. Of course, the trees were all on fire. They ran as fast as they could. The smoke made it hard to breathe, and they were slowed because of the limited vision. They covered their mouths and noses as best as they could.

Finally, they reached the tower. Relieved, they went inside the building, where Slender was waiting. The two didn't have time to react. They fell to the floor, unconscious. Barrel stood over them, smirking.

"Such a well-planned trap, eh Slender?" he purred.

Slender nodded in agreement.

"So, where shall we send them?"

"What about where the golden statue lives?" Slender said through his puppet, Masky. His deep voice in the small, shy boy was unnatural, but Barrel didn't mind. "It will be interesting to see how they handle it. Besides, there is one feisty one that the Bro wanted to get rid of as soon as possible."

"I suppose so. Check the bag. Make sure they don't have much to syart with. Take things like the flashlights, batteries, food, things like that."

"They're awake," a french accent said. "Mr. Chair, fetch the lantern.

Astral groaned as he awoke. His vision swam as his eyes tried to focus. Finally, they settled on a golden figure. He formed one word:

"Amnesia..."
