Chapter 6

Julie's P.O.V

One knock.

It was all it took to bring my world down. To make my surroundings fade away, to make my heartbeat increase, to make my body covered in chills, and my legs trembling.

One person.

That's all it took to steal my attention.To make a real smile I haven't showed for years apear, to make my insides melt, to make my throat dry, and to make my hands sweat.

One Minute

That's all it took to make me know who the person is. To make me comprehend the feelings I felt, to make me understand the reason why my wolf grinned in his presence, and to make me put the pieces together.

His blue eyes stared deeply in mine, like he was studying me from inside. His hands were in his suit pants' pocket making him look rather attractive. His look captured my attention most though, like he was investigating with my soul, understanding my state, and my past. Like he knew me better than everyone else, even better than myself, and that itself has made me lost in his eyes, they were so beautiful, just staring at him made me feel like the whole world stopped.

But We're different. So different.

He's rich, I'm not.

He's famous, I'm not.

He's successful, I'm not.

He's lucky, and I surely am not.

Why are we mated? Two very different werewolves mated is catastrophic for me. Especially my boss, It's absolutely insane, between all the werewolves in the universe I get to be mated to him?

Don't get me wrong, It's not about me, but he's with no hesitation unfortunate to have me as a mate. I feel terribly bad for him, he'll be unmated for the rest of his life.

I on the other hand, don't need a mate. I'm doing just fine without one, and having one is going to ruin my plans.

Still staring at his handsome face, he smiled.

His beautiful smiled made a appearance making me awestruck. His white teeth showed and his lips curved. Oh how gorgeous he is !

"Hi" His voice was so husky, so masculine. And hearing his voice say that one simple word have made my throat even dryer, and with that, I didn't have the courage to say anything, not one word was spoken by me.

The next action he made, made my blue eyes sparkling with surprise. I was shocked by his little gesture. He opened the door wider and asked me with his eyes to come in. And that's what I did, his smile turned to a smirk when I stepped inside the well decorated office.

"You can put that down on the coffee table" For a second I was massively scared to be alone with him, he obviously knew I was the coffee girl, and used it for his advance to call me.

I did like he sayed, and laid the tray on the glass coffee table.

"Have a seat" He ordered and I commanded sitting on one of the white big couches.

He kept staring at me again, and I did the same. I was afraid of his reaction, I think he already knows that we're mates and I was so scared about what he would think.

"I want to get to know you" those words shocked me.

"At seven thirty, get ready, I'll pick you up from bailey's" He stood up, left his office and left me staring at the white and black stripped walls in shock. What?

"Ew, that's so slutty" I grimaced at my best friend.

"Are you saying my dresses are slutty?" Bailey gasped putting the dresses that were once in her hand on the bed.

"No, not at all !" I defended my saying and marched to her closet and picked up a black high waisted maxi skirt, and a white crop top and then I raised a brow at her asking for her opinion.

"That's too simple" She frowned and went over to her dresser and handed me a blue neckless, I shrugged and took it to the bathroom where I changed my clothes to the ones I was holding.

When I got out of the bathroom, I wore a pair of white sandals. And Bailey smiled a heart warming smile.

"I can't believe you're going out with him!"

"What? No we're not going out ! It's complicated" Unfortunately I couldn't tell Bails about the mating subject, I was very nervous about her reaction. But mostly I was nervous if he would bring it up tonight.

"It's probably him" While busy in my thoughts I didn't even hear the bell ringed at exactly seven thirty, My palms started sweating as previously and I took a piece of my blonde locks behind my ear.

Hello guys! I'm so sorry for the late update, I decided to take a break since it was my mom's birthday, so I just wanted to chill and hang out with the family, sorry but thank you for the patience I have been getting from you guys! So this have recently became my priority, because I'm so thrilled for the idea of the story, I feel like it's absolutely original and creative and I'm so in love with it! this chapter was kind of boring but the next one will make it up for all of you out there!
