Must Be My Mate

Arron's P.O.V

"Arron, who is this girl?" My mother questioned me with a frown.

"Juliet, Mom. Mom, Juliet" I introduced the two confused women in front of me. Then I got up and asked my mother to have a seat. Juliet's hands were trembling and she was turning to a tomato.

"Nice to mee-"

"I don't care, who are you?" Mom cut Juliet at her phrase.

"Mom" I warned the woman in front of me who's face still embraced a frown.

"Who are you?" She ignored my warning and re-asked Julie.

"My name is Juliet Brook-"

"I didn't ask for your name" Damn my sassy rude mother.

"She's the new secretary of Jason" I quickly lied, I didn't like this side of mom, she was always very protective of me since I was her only boy but she has to understand that I'm growing up and taking care of my self by my own. I get that she just wants the best for me like all the mothers but she has to step back and let me live my life.

"I like Jessica better" She grumpily answered like a 5 year old while she was 50.

"Here you go" A waiter handed us three plates on the table. I ordered a royal salad for the entrance and steak with vegetables and sea fruit for the main meal as well as French vegetable bread bites. That's mom's favorites. I held my fork and knife securely in my hands and started eating just like mother, as for Juliet she was staring at her plate with disgust, my nerves picked up when I asked her what's wrong, she sighed and glanced at my mother who was also looking at her with a brow up and a smirk.

"I'm not hungry" She said with a nervous smile, great she probably doesn't eat salad !

"Do you want to order something else?" I asked her.

She shocked her head biting her lip. Shit don't do that, as you guys know I haven't been intimate with anyone ever since I met her, and my little buddy started getting exited at any little gesture and her biting her lip isn't anything different. I could feel the saliva in my mouth drys as I try hardly to swallow.

An idea popped in my head so I got up quickly and said "I'll see you tomorrow mother" Putting money inside the cash box. Mom got up also and looked at me for a minute after sitting back down and nodding her head. I grasped Juliet's shaking hand and pulled her with me whilst walking out of the restaurant to my car, her reaction was silent and quite.

"What's your favorite food?" The question asked made her face scrunch in confusion. I had to re-ask her the question so she'd realize what I said.

"I don't know... Are we playing twenty questions?" I chuckled at her confusion.

"I'm ready to take you anywhere, where do you usually eat?"

"You won't like it" She argued

"Just tell me !"

"It's not exactly your level" A blush crept into her cheeks as she continued playing with the end of her top like earlier.

"I don't say things twice" After that she finally told me the address of a place, it was in the other side of the town where I don't usually go to at all. She knew it very clearly as she guided me to a dark ally, my car got so much attention when I parked it and that made me worried about it, should I park it further? It seemed like she read my mind as she said "I promise you nothing will happen to your car" With a bit of hesitation we got out of the car and as soon as our feet hit the ground, everyone seemed to recognize her since they were all greeting her with hand shakes, I've never expected her to belong here because of her innocence, but as they say 'Don't judge a book by its cover'.

"Hey Alberto !" We entered a very small snack, it was dirty and the people that were eating standing infront of (as it didn't have any room for them to sand inside) were staring at me awkwardly but theirs faces lit up when theirs eyes came in contact with Juliet's blue ones, she sure was one open popular person, quite the opposite of what I thought of her.

"Hey Julie ! long time no seen, where have you been?" The guy named Alberto was a man with olive skin and a Mexican accent, I believe he's the owner of this place.

"You know, just roaming around" She scratched the back of her head while answering, I was studying her every move, from the way she smiled to the way she sighed and blushed.

"Do you think you can make us two of your famous sandwiches ?"

"Of course, but who's giving you company?" The man curiously asked glancing my way.

"Oh this is Mr-"

"Arron, a friend of hers" Juliet turned my way and smiled at my phrase.

"Alright, your sandwiches are gonna be here in a second my dear" She smiled one of her thank you smiles and grasped my hand leading me out of the place to the dark ally again.

"I know it's out of your comfort zone to be here and eat this kind of food since you're used to eat French and Italian food but this is just what I can afford and what I grew up eating, even though the place looks dirty and stuff, the food isn't, so I hope you like-"

"Stop rambling, I get it" I shushed her off and smirked.

"Yeah sorry" She once again I done of her nervous habits by scratching the back of her head.

"Now for real, wanna play 20 questions?"

I am so sorry for the very late update, as I mentioned in the last chapter of HD I was actually traveling, me and my family decided to visit a few places at spring break. And let me tell you now, the long wait was worth it because I had the best days of my life while being there ! If you were wondering, I went to Agadir and Taroudant in Morocco, my dad organized a big festival and couple concerts there and that's why we went along, I met so many beautiful and amazing people who I've became close friends with in the last three days ! I'm truly grateful for the opportunity that I had while being there to make awesome friends, and I'll tell you now that Irish people are the loveliest people I've ever met in my life ! now before I tell you about my whole trip and this becomes boring, I'll talk about the story first, so I'm sorry again but it was really worth it and if you were in my place I don't think you'll decline a chance like this one and remember that I have a social life that I need to keep healthy ;) Now that that's out of the way I wanna say that the story is not going to be the cheesy cliché one like this chapter, it'll be filled with suspense and action hopefully and tell me if you guys liked this chapter. I was also was thinking of putting this story on hold because I haven't gotten any comments for the last chapter (besides DiyaDirectioner) and any sign that you guys are actually enjoying my story which worries me a lot, if you don't like it tell me what you don't like about it, so I could fix it because I care about what my readers think and the story is made to please the audience so please let me know.
