Adelaide woke up slowly, still in the clothes from last night and still all messy with tears, blood, and snot. She slowly rose from her bed and numbly went into her bathroom to clean up. Adelaide hopped into the shower and quickly washed up. She put on a pair of undergarments before blow drying her hair as swiftly as possible.
Adelaide then walked out of her bathroom and silently picked her outfit: A cutesy little tank top with cacti on it tucked into a pair of black skinny jeans and a dark red cardigan over top. She added some brown boots.
Adelaide knew something was wrong when she still felt nothing even as she put on one of her favorite outfits but she brushed it aside. She slowly sat on her bed, a plan formulating in her mind. She quickly stood and grabbed a Nightmare Before Christmas shoulder bag and started stuffing things in it. She grabbed a notebook and a pen, her phone (turning off the tracking devices and such), her laptop, her earbuds and last but not least a glimmering knife. A very large, like butcher knife almost, glimmering could-see-your-reflection-in-it knife.
Adelaide giggled, yet still felt not a thing, as she gently placed that in her bag. She quickly left her room, grabbing her car keys as she left and expertly avoiding her parents as she went outside. She got in her car and started driving away. Far far away from her little hometown in Kirkland, Washington.
Adelaide was headed to Binghamton. In the glamorous New York.
-Time Skip Provided By I Can Do Whatever I Please-
Adelaide was almost to her destination. In fact, she was already in Binghamton. She drummed her fingers on her steering wheel as she hummed the song that was playing over the speakers of her beautiful blue 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra. It cost her parents a fortune but they were happy to do anything for their "little angel"
She smiled slightly as she saw it was getting dark out it was only around 4:30 in Washington yet it was almost 7:30 in Binghamton. 'Perfect' she thought as she drove up to her destination. A cute little home in the suburbs, belonging to the parents of a one Mallory Wentz. That's right. Adelaide had figured out where the parents of her beloved's killer were.
Adelaide...now she was smart with computers. Very very smart. She could figure out almost anything and this skill would come in very very handy on her little...expedition she was on.
Adelaide got out of her car and dipped a hand into her bag, pulling out a black surgical mask with a blood red smile on it. She giggled again, pulling out her knife as she made her way silently inside the unlocked home.
She continued to hum that particular song she was listening to, The Best Is Yet To Come by Frank Sinatra, as she slowly made her way up to Mr. and Mrs. Wentz's room dragging the knife along the wall as she hummed. Of course, the two were already in bed by the time she got there.
Adelaide once again giggled and smiled underneath her mask as she shook awake the sleeping Mrs. Wentz and before the woman could do a thing she had her tied up and gagged. She went to the other side of the bed and did the exact same to Mr. Wentz.
Adelaide sighed softly as she perched at the end of the bed, looking at the two for a moment. She then smiled underneath the mask and began to speak, her speech muffled. "Y'know, your son murdered my girlfriend. In cold fucking blood. He didn't even care. Just fucking smiled and ran off. We didn't even know the man. But he made his decision and I'm making mine. I'll make sure the little murderer knows what it's like to lose someone whom you care about." Adelaide vaguely gestured to Mrs. Wentz with her knife but looked at the husband.
"You are going to watch your wife die. Then I'm going to kill you even slower and more brutally. I'll send your son a letter from your wife saying they want to catch up grab a coffee or something" She said, with an edge of malice in it as she smirked beneath the mask "He'll come here or I'll make him and he'll find your bloody corpses." Adelaide said all this with absolutely zero emotion, minus that bit of malice.
Adelaide smiled at the fear in both of their eyes, giggling again. She slowly started singing The Best Is Yet To Come as she stood and walked over to Mrs. Wentz, slowly digging the knife into her leg and dragging it up her leg to make a very large gash. Adelaide smiled as the blood pooled out.
Adelaide took the knife out and slowly started to murder Mrs. Wentz as she forced her husband to watch. She started by cutting off her limbs and then disemboweling her. She smiled as the blood pool slowly started to grow and grow before she eventually ended it all and decapitated Mrs. Wentz.
She smiled at Mr. Wentz, though he couldn't see it. She slowly walked to the other side of the bed, the fear growing the closer she got. She heard a muffled plea for her to stop just stop and spare him but she shook her head and ignored him.
Adelaide murdered Mr. Wentz in much the same fashion as she had Mrs. Wentz yet much more agonizingly and slowly. She kept humming/singing the same song, repeating it when she finished, as she murdered the two then went on cleaning up the blood puddles and changing the seats.
Adelaide saved enough blood to write on the wall with it before she positioned Mr. and Mrs. Wentz back in bed with the covers over them before going downstairs and filling out the rest of her plan.
-Another Time Skip Cause Fuck You That's Why-
Mallory Wentz was more than a little confused when he got the letter from his mother saying she wanted to meet up but, nonetheless, he went to see his parents. He at first knocked but when he got no answer he just went in, unaware of the blue car that sat just across the street watching none other than him.
Mallory slowly walked in, confused as to why no one was awake at 3:00 in the afternoon but shrugged off the uneasy feeling he got from the home. He went up to his parent's room, not bothering to turn on the lights as he went to try and wake up his parents.
They didn't even stir and he pulled back the covers to see the horrifying sight that lay before him. He was too in shock to scream at first as he scrambled to the light switch. He looked at his parent's mutilated corpses before he soon saw the blood writing on the wall.
He turned toward it and read it a couple times
'Here's To Me, Kid. Drink Up. Cause I'm Coming For You Next'
And then, Mallory Wentz found his voice...and screamed.
