Chapter 16: Meeting the brothers

~ELLA'S PROV~

After that dream last night I'm starting to have my doubts about going with Slendy to see his brother's tonight. I slowly leave Jeff's room and head to mine, throwing my clothes inside. I then decide to go outside for a walk in the forest, just to clear my head. I walk outside and then suddenly right when Im about to enter the forest I get tackled by something large, which causes me to fall to the ground. I groan and look up to see a smiling siberian husky, smiling at me. I smile and say "Hey Smile."

His human like smile widens and he says "Hi Ella."

Smile starts licking my face with joy and I squeal. "Ah, stop it Smile! Haha, come on stop it."

Finally Smile stops and gets off me, and I stand up. i look at the happy husky starring at me with excitement and I say "You want to go for a walk with me?"

Smile tail then started wagging rapidly. He starts jumping up and down saying "Yes, yes yes!"

"Ok lets go." I say

Smile's smile widens and he runs ahead, barking loudly. I laugh and follow Smile. We walk for a little bit and I start thinking about everything that has happened. My dreams, my dates, the upcoming date tonight...and I sigh in frustration! "What am I going to do..." I mumble to myself...

"What are you talking about Ella?" I hear

I look up and Smile starring at me, his head tilted in worriedness. I give him a small smile, and say, "Oh nothing Smile I was just talking to myself."

Smile stares at me for a little bit and I start to feel unconfortable. "what?" I ask him

"Whats wrong, Ella? You can tell me, I'm a dog, Im very trustworthy." he said

I stare at him and think about this for a second. I havent really talked to anyone about it before, and since Smile is a dog, he should be easy to talk too. I sigh and say, "Okay, I'll tell you." 

I sit down on a near by rock and Smile scampers over beside me. I sigh and start explaining everything to Smile, I dont know why, but it felt really good to let this all out. Like a weight was lifted off my chest. Finally, I finished explaining and stared at Smile. I then asked "Do you know what I should do, Smile?"

Smile stares at me and thinks for a second. Then he speaks, "Well you are definetly in a pickle thats for sure. I personally say you should get together with Jeff because one, you seem to care about him the most, and two he is my rightful owner. But, I also think you should follow your heart, and do whats right."

I laugh at his answer, "How do you have such a good answer?" I ask

His tail begins to wag rapidly again and his smile grows, "Its because Im a dog and a dog is one of the most loyal pets a person could have."

I smile and rub one of his ears, causing his leg to shake up and down I laugh and say "thanks for letting me tell you Smile. It feels like a big weight has been lifted off of my chest." 

Smile sits there and says "No problem, Ella. Im glad I was able to help you relieve some stress."

I smile at him then say, "We should head back before everyone worries."

Smile nods and runs ahead barking. Maybe Smile is right, maybe I should pick Jeff. I am closest and we have had a lot of moments....I dont know. I'll think about it later. I run back to the house and see Jeff waiting by the door. When he sees me his already smiling face smiles wider. I run up to him and hug him, which he quickly returns. "Hey Ella. Where did you go? I was getting worried."
