"Hold my hand."----
Sometime after lunch, Gavin, Jeremy, and Trevor went off to film some Between the Games video. Michael stayed out of it to get some work done, and besides, his hand was killing him. He was about to go on a search for pain killers when the office door swung open. The remaining guys left in the office turned to see who it was. The three from earlier were wearing re breathers that a fan had sent in and were somehow wearing swimming trunks. Everyone started laughing and Matt aimed the camera towards Michael, who had a look of both horror and interest on his face. "We wanted to test these babies out," Jeremy said, voice muffled. Michael could almost see the smirk hidden on each of their faces. "We need help setting the pool up," Gavin said to Michael, tugging off his mask. Michael's eyes went wide, "We have a fucking pool here?!"
Gavin held onto Michael's good hand and lead him out to the parking lot. Trevor and Jeremy were spewing nonsense to the camera Matt was holding. Michael broke out in laughter when he saw the so called 'pool'. "It's a kiddie pool! You guys can't fit in that," Michael got out between laughter. Gavin squeezed Michael's hand and pulled him over to a hose, "We need to fill it up first!" Michael shook his head and started to fill up the pool. "You guys are fucking idiots," he said and laughed when the pool was filled up. Michael could see Trevor turn and smirk at Jeremy as they chuckled. Jeremy turned to Gavin and nodded to him and Michael felt Gavin grab his arm. "Okay what the fuck is going on?" Michael asked as his eyes widened.
Gavin kissed his cheek and mumbled an apology before pushing Michael into the water. Trevor grabbed the hose and started to spray him while Jeremy took out his phone to film. Michael sat up in the pool and glared at each of them as his hair fell wet onto his forehead, "Oh you four are so dead." "Gavin shut the water off and run!" Jeremy shouted and moved back as Trevor dropped the hose and hid behind Matt. "What- dude no! I'm not your shield," Matt said in protest. Michael pushed himself up so he was standing as he ran towards Jeremy first, pulling him into a hug and soaked him. He chuckled and ran after Matt and Trevor doing the same to them. Then he turned to Gavin and smirked deviously. "No! Michael I don't want to get wet," Gavin squealed and backed up. Michael crossed his arms and stood in place, "Oh don't worry. I'll deal with you when we get home."
"Ohhh shit, they're gonna fuck," Trevor whispered to Jeremy and laughed. Michael turned to them and they froze. "I could still toss you into the pool," Michael said and chuckled. Jeremy looked at Matt and the camera. "Shenanigans!" He said before Matt ended the video. Michael took off his shirt and started to ring it out, "I'm really hoping you idiots had a change of clothes for me." "I have some in the office that I brought for this," Gavin said and smiled. Matt tossed Michael a towel, "We had everything planned." "God you guys are assholes," Michael shook his head and started to dry off some. Gavin slipped his hand into Michael's good one and lead him back to the office. Michael huffed slightly at him and tossed his wet shirt over his shoulder. The others followed behind the two.
When they arrived back into the office, Michael heard a cat call whistle and looked up to see Geoff chuckling at him. Michael flipped him off, "Bet you were in on this two dickhead." Geoff shook his head, "Nope. I just find it hilarious." Michael rolled his eyes as Gavin shoved some dry clothes against Michael's chest, "Go change. We have to film after." Michael nodded and walked off to the restroom so he could change. He carried his wet clothes back and stuck them in a plastic bag in the office to wash and dry when they got home. Michael sat at his desk and started up his recording software. Geoff said they were going to film something in Sky Factory, which meant Michael could basically sit this one out. He was grateful because his hand was starting to ache again.
After they finished filming, it was getting around time for everyone to go home. Michael was glad because he was slowly starting to feel like shit again. He packed up his things and grabbed his wet clothes and started to walk with Gavin out to the car. It was a quiet ride home and Michael just knew Gavin could tell he wasn't feeling right. He parked the car in front of the house and they both got out, heading into the house. Michael went to throw his damp clothes in the wash and turned around to head to the kitchen. He saw Gavin holding two beers and passed one to Michael, "Let's talk." Michael eyed him, but went to sit on the couch.
"What's wrong?" Gavin started off as he took a sip of his beer. Michael took a sip and shrugged, "It's nothing." Gavin sighed, "Michael it's not nothing." "No that's exactly what it is. It's my brain making me feel shitty for absolutely no reason," Michael said and took another sip. Gavin sighed and held his hand out to Michael, "Hold my hand." "What? Why?" Michael asked, slightly taken back by Gavin's weird action. "Just do it okay?" Gavin said and looked at him. Michael raised a brow at him, but held his hand. Gavin ran his thumb over Michael's rough hand, "If you ever start feeling bad, just grab my hand and squeeze." "That's stupid-" "I know, but I want you to know I'm there for you," Gavin said and kissed his cheek. Michael smiled slightly as he looked at Gavin and squeezed his hand.
