"Right there!" JP whispered loudly. Up ahead one of the big guys was walking down the side of the swamp lazily. It stoped and looked across the water towards the shack. It crossed its arm and stood their like it was appreciating the view.
"What's it doing?" Wade asked. It was acting different than the computer version. It was acting.....human.
"Who cares. We barely have 30 min. We need to at least get one of these things. Maybe the jerks will give us slack and let us have more time." Patrick said pulling his gun up.
"Your right. It looks distracted. We can't let it run this time so let's surround it." The other two nodded and started to quietly walk around it. Wade was directly behind it hiding next to a tree while Patrick was to its right and JP to its left. It might run into the water but the open area would give them a longer time to shoot its back as it ran. Wade raised his gun and aimed at its moss covered head. Wade froze as he starred at the furry thing. Something wasn't right. He couldn't figure it out what it was but this was off. Wade saw Patrick starring at him then mouthed if he was ok. Wade nodded and shook off the feeling. He rose his hand.
3...2...1.
BANG! Guns went off and penetrated its thick skin. It's roar drowned out the loud gun shots. It turned taking rounds to the chest. As the three of them reloaded Wade made eye contact to the beast. Sky blue eyes bore into Wade's. Wades breath caught in his throat. It's eyes were so human and real. The way it looked at Wade it was like..... it wanted to tell him something. A bullet hit its mark on the green beasts shoulder and it broke contact with Wade. It roared in pain but soon another roar came into the mix. The three men looked up to see the black Big foot running strait at them with its fist held high and its tongue out with a crazed look. It almost ran over JP as it ran in to save its friend. It didn't even stop as it picked the green one up and threw him over its shoulder. It ran past Patrick, who was to shocked to reload, and ran through the bushes out of sight. If they weren't in a life and death situation Wade would of said it looked kind of comical. But they were in a life or death situation and they needed to take out a Bigfoot.
"Go after them! We can't let it get away!" The three of them took of further into the trees.
"Do you see them?"
"No! How the heck did something that big just disappear! There is no trace!" Patrick yelled in frustration.
"Maybe their cave is near by?" JP asked.
"Maybe." Wade looked at the side of the rocks looking for some kind of entrance. An alarm jerked him out of his concentration. His radio let out a loud and obnoxious sound as did Patrick's and JP's.
"Times up." Is all Rebecca said to them as soon as the noise went quit.
"Wait please give us more time!" Patrick begged into the radio. But no one answered.
"Listen. We have one on the ropes. So please PLEASE give us more time!" Still no answer. Patrick threw his radio against a tree but luckily it was strong enough to withstand it. JP went down on his knees holding his head. Wade didn't know what to do. What could he do? He racked his brain around trying to figure this out.
"NO! NO PLEASE!" A scream pierced Wade's heart. He knew that voice. He took of running through the trees not even waiting to make sure the others were behind him.
"No." Wade whispered as he ran to where the noise came from.
"No." He cleared logs and ripped bushes away.
"No." He ran right into the the lake not even slowing down to watch where he stepped.
"No." He finally made it to the shack and he looked around. His eyes rested on a bunch of leaves where gold strands of hair draped the face of a woman.
"NOOOOOO!!!!"
