Lost in the Game. A Wade, Patrick and Jp story.

Almost Over

The group was now walking through the woods following JP who had a giant grin on his face. The group hadn't had the heart to tell him what could happen if he was the one to destroy the hammer.

"What are we going todo?" Patrick whispered to Wade.

"Maybe stick it in a tree? Or maybe the ground?"

"But how are we suppose to know when the lightning will hit?" Wade was quit trying to think up a plan. He couldn't let JP be the one todo it.... it just wouldn't be fare. But no one else could pick it up.

"Why do you guys look so glum? It will all be over soon!" Jp laughed. He had turned around and was walking backwards. Wade and Patrick looked at each other then back at him.

"Come on guy! I'm going to be Thor!! How awesome is that!"

"But JP your not Thor." Patrick slowly said.

"Well obviously but I'm going to look pretty cool!"

"JP I don't think you've thought this through." Wade said. Behind him Mark and Jack grunted in agreement. JP turned back around and kept walking.

"Not thought it through? You mean you think I haven't realized I might die while doing this? I maybe slow Wade but I'm not stupid." JP said all this without looking at them. When he realized his foot steps where the only ones he could hear he stoped and looked back. Wade, Patrick and the other two had stoped walking and starred at him.

"Guys come on. If it means stopping all of this and keeping our friends safe I would do it in a heart beat." Patrick sniffed and a tear fell down his face.

"JP if we find any other way...."

"I don't think there is another way." JP gave a sad smile. Suddenly JP was being smothered in hugs as Patrick and Wade tackled him.

"I didn't take you guys as huggers." JP joked.

"Were not." Wade said. Mark and Jack looked at each other and shrugged before hugging each other.

"No I won't except it!" Patrick blurted out.

"There has to be another way! We've been through to much to just let you die."

"You idiot!!! You've ruined everything!!" Came an angry voice.

"Please sir. This is wrong! They've seen two of there friends dead. It's time to stop!"

"You peace of garbage technology! I should of erased you when I had the chance."

A bolt of electricity shot through the air and hit Rebecca.

"AAAAAAH!" She hit the floor trying not to fizzle out. She looks up to see the monitor that had Wade, Patrick and JP on it. They were hugging and Patrick was talking.

"This needs to end sir...." she whispered.

"Technology will not tell the creator what todo. I will have to start all over thanks to you!" While the man was talking Rebecca crawled to the monitors.

"I didn't say you could move!" Another bold of electricity shot through her but she didn't stop, she slammed her hand down on a button.

"This needs to end...." the computer began to make noses as electricity over powered it. Slowly Rebeccas hand began to fade.

"It's up to you guys now." She whispered as she disappeared.
