Thunder, lightning, strong winds and heavy raindrops is all I hear it's been two day since the snow storm started, two days since I gave Kane my first kiss, and two days since he's gotten clingy.
Right now I'm in the pool, I really don't care that it's a thunder storm outside. I have to catch up on my training. This morning when I woke up it was sunny outside and the weather just change just like with the snow storm.
My hair is still snow white but the rest is back to normal.
The doors to the pool room opens.
"Well, well, well." I say to my new British friend. "If it isn't my trusted friend and fearless guardian, Roy. How are you on this stormy afternoon in the Big Black castle?" I ask with a dramatic effect.
"It's actually called the Forbidden Castle, but Big Black works too. I'm fine, my dear. Lunch will be served in the dinning room." He says.
"I'm not hungry my dear friend just bored." I say turning over to him. "If you don't mind I'll be in the garden dancing in the rain." I say and got out of the water. "An Apple would 've just fine, by the way." I say as he hands me the towel.
"Oh, my dear Arizona, how I love your playful character and your enthusiasm. I'll give you that Apple and leave you be." He says and leaves the pool room.
He entered again with a green apple in his hand.
"How did you know I like green apples?" I asked him.
"Just a lucky guess." He says with a shrug.
"There wasn't any other apples, were there?" I say with a straight face.
He sighs, "You know me so well." And smiles.
"Okay, that's fine, I'll be in the garden till three, tell your beloved King not to worry. I'll be fine." I said and pull on my shorts over my red swim suit.
I pass Roy, take my Apple and kiss his cheek. "You're the best, old man." And I exit the pool room.
I entered the kitchen and saw a lot of people working, cooking, cleaning and all that jazz.
After I took another Apple I left the kitchen and went to the sliding door that leads to the garden. Like I said, I'm gonna go dance in the rain.
I ran outside through the rain and straight to the rose bushes. The beautiful roses decorated with raindrops.
I walked past them and deeper into The garden, getting more soaked by the second, my waist length snow white hair, lays flat against my now wet swimsuit.
But I didn't care. A bush of purple daisies caught my attention. I got closer to them and watched in amazement as a lighting bolt flashed behind me in the sky, setting a light to the purple flowers with raindrops on them.
"Who would pick a daisy in a field of roses?" A voice whispered over the rain in my ear as two strong arms rapped around my from behind.
"You see, I was born in a field of roses, left and right, you would see women in their finest clothes, jewelry. With the finest manners, but I unlike my forefathers, was looking for a daisy. I know this may seem crazy, who would pick a daisy if you have roses bending at your every will and wish. But how wants gullible when you can have an adventure, you wants easy when you can have a challenge." He turns me around so I'm facing him and continues, "Who want a rose when you can have a daisy?" He asks as I stare into his one of a kind eyes.
"Dance with me." He says and takes my hand in his.
"There's no music." I states.
"Your heart beat is symphony enough." He says and pulls my closer to him.
I let him sway me to the music only he can hear. His left hand in the small if my back, my left hand in his right and my right hand on his shoulder.
He twirled me and brought me back into his grip and dipped me.
Ah, dancing in the rain is fun if you have the right partner.
"Turn around and look at the garden." He whispered in by ear.
I turn around and look at the garden.
"Can you see that the daisies are in the center of everything?" He asks and only then did I realise that you can see the hole garden from where the daisies are. I nod and he continues, "I chose a daisy over roses, and I chose you. Just like the daisies are the center of the garden, you are the center of my world." He says and turns me around.
To think I made a deal with a vampire King to take care of my family, to give my sister a stable up bringing. Although I did that I wasn't planing on letting thé vampire King fall in love with me and I him.
The only intentions I had the day I made that deal was to live with a vampire for the sake if my family, not give him my first kiss, almost having intercourse with him, befriending his butler and certainly not falling for his beautiful eyes, his muscled body his gentle voice or his way with words.
But that's not what I'm doing for me this will only be a relationship built on what he wants, I won't let my feelings get in the way of saving my family. I'm just his property and I won't become more than that, I won't get hurt.
"Kane, don't think for a minute, just because you have me under your spell," that earned a chuckled from his pink lips, "that you can break me. Don't think just because you said your pretty words to me that I'm going to fall for you, I only made this deal to save my family. You can use how ever you want but I'm begging you not to hurt me. My emotions will not get the best of me, you will not control me, I'm still my own person and I am still a warrior." I say with narrowed eyes.
Kane looks at me through his thick lashes and a smile forms of his face, "I wouldn't dream about it. Like I said, I picked the challenge and not the easy."
