Chapter 10: Lady Balls

After I left the coffee place, I drive home pissed as hell. I don't know why what Ashley said to me really bothered me, but it does. A lot. Like I know Ashley and James have a history together, but that doesn't give her the right to say shit like that. She definitely has the lady balls to say something like that to her future Luna.

When I arrive to the house, I see James' car outside the drive way. I angrily slam my door and walk up to the front door.

I'm pissed 

I slam the front door closed to see James drinking a water bottle in the kitchen on his phone. His head snaps up to the sound of the slamming, staring at me with surprise before one with guilt. I walk to the fridge to grab a water bottle and then walk to our room without a word, leaving a guilty looking James in the kitchen.

I'm so mad, I don't even wanna talk to him right now. How dare he just not come home last night without giving me a call or something?!

 "Baby wait, let me explain." I make it to our room and take my sneakers off, putting them in the closet, with James following me.

"I don't wanna talk." Maybe I was acting childish, but I don't care. All my feelings caught up with me today. Just seeing Ashley today was the icing on the cake.

"Baby plea-"

"I said I don't wanna talk!" This caught him by surprise, even me. I never yell at him, ever. His guilty look going away now turns into a glare.

"Watch your tone with me Lexa." I'm so mad right now, I just need a minute to think. I brush past him to get out of the room.

"I don't give a fuck right now.." I mumble as I walk away. Apparently he heard me. He roughly grabs my upper arm and pushes me against the wall, getting into my face. He holds my hands above my head, while the rest of his body is flushed against mine. I try to stay strong and still hold my glare. He still gives me a glare.

"I know you're mad at me, but don't you EVER disrespect me! I am still your Alpha and I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT!" He yells at me. I flinch when he yells louder at the end. I then break our eye contact, not being able to take his intense stare.

"I'm sorry..." I mumble out, my tears threatening to come out. He lets me go and looks at me with guilt.

"No I'm sorry.." He says out before giving me a hug. I just stand there before hugging him back.

"I've just been really stressed lately with all the work and such. I'm sorry I didn't come home last night."

"Hey its ok. I promise." He rests his head inside my neck before putting light kisses all over it.

I decide not to tell him about Ashley. We made up now, and I don't want to ruin that.

"I love you Lexa." James says suddenly, looking up at me. My hear melts at this. I smile wide at this and give him a kiss.

"I love you too."
