You Let Him Go ~ Im Changkyun

Changkyun ran a hand through his black hair and continued down the lamp-lit street. A sweatshirt wrapped around his body and everytime he breath, white mist left his lips. He was suprised that his tears hadn't froze.

He trusted her with his all, protected and loved her with every bone in his body yet she still left. No call, no text, not even a fucking note. She packed a bag and left while he was sleeping. He had woken up thinking she had just went out for the day, but when she didn't come home he called. He got no answer, he called again and still got nothing. By that time Changkyun was extremely worried, so he called her best friend.

"Hello?" Jisoo said through the phone. Changkyun asked if she had seen her. She was silent for a few moments. He asked again.

"She's not coming back, thats all i can tell you. Im really sorry." She hung up.

Even now, walking down a dimly lit street he could still hear her laugh, see her smile and feel her lips on his. The distraught boy cried harder and stopped dead. Changkyun pulled out his phone and dialed her number. He put the device to his ear, listening closely while it rung. He got nothing but her voice mail.

"Fuck!" Changkyun screamed into the night. He threw his phone to the ground, and pulled on his hair. He couldn't feel anything, though he didn't care. All he cared about was her, all he wanted was her.

Changkyun heard the roar of a truck engine behind him, but he didnt move an inch. His breathing was heavy and his throat burned from crying so hard. The sound of the engine was getting closer and his shadow was being lightly casted on the asphalt in front of him.

Suddenly his phone rang a few feet away from him. He looked over, thinking that he had broken it. His eyes scanned the screen. Who could be calling?

It was her.

Changkyun never got to answer the call, he was hit by the truck. He fell into a coma and she stayed by his side until he died of heart failure. She cried for weeks, and could never forgive herself, for she knew, deep down, that she was the one who had caused all of this.

You caused all of this.
