You and Jooheon had been dating just over 3 years and you couldn't be happier. You loved him with your all and to this day you still don't under stand how you how you got so lucky.

"Yah, Oppa, where are we going?" You asked him from the passenger seat of his car.

"Now if I told you that, then it would defeat the purpose of this being a surprise." He looked to you and smirked, you pouted in return.

"At least a hint?" Jooheon made a face as though he was thinking, finally he answered, "fine." You smiled widely.

"It's one of your favorite places, then we are going somewhere else," you racked your brain for an idea of where he could be taking you. Suddenly you gasped.

"Oh my gosh, Joo are you taking me to Mugyodong Bugeokukjib?!" You asked your boyfriend excitedly. He laughed and shook his head, "yes we are Jagi."

For the next few minutes you two sit in comfortable silence. The radio played softly. The car stopped suddenly.

"Y/n, we're here." He got out of the car and hurried over to your side, he opened your door, took your hand and helped you out, "thank you, Oppa."

You two walked into the restaurant hand in hand and are quickly seated by a waitress. Jooheon orders a coke and you order a water, "I'll be back with your drinks as soon as possible." She hands the two of you menus then leaves.

"What would you like Jagi?" You look to him and answer immediately, "Can I have Dolsot Bibimbap and Bindaetteok please?" He nods his head.

"What are you getting Oppa?" You ask him cheerfully, "Probably Gimbap and Kimchi Bokkeumbap," he replies. The waitress makes a small sound catching Jooheon's attention. She places the drinks on the table and then takes your orders.

You and Jooheon were in the restaurant for about 2 hours. Jooheon checked the time as you took your last bite, "Yah, Jagiya, are you ready for the next part of our date?" He searched your face for answer.

You gave him a quick yes and he stood, taking your hand to help you up. He placed the money on the table then lead you out of the restaurant. You followed Jooheon to the car and you got in. The sun had just started setting.

The car ride took 10 minutes, when he parked you looked around and quickly recognised the area.

"Han River," you got out of the car and walked to the shore of the river, you kneeled down and looked at your reflection in the water. You could see Jooheon standing behind you, hands in his pockets, the calm breeze blowing his black hair around lightly. He was looking at you like you were the only thing in the world. You stood and turned to look at him. He advanced towards you.

"Joo...this is where we met. I didn't think you would remember." All he did was chuckle, "how could I forget where I met the love of my life?" He got on one knee, your breath hitched and your heart started to pound. You tried to speak but your vocal chords seemed to stop working.

"Y/n, you know that I've always been bad at explaing how I feel, so I practiced this moment over and over yet here I am, still struggling to find the right words." You could see that his eyes had glossed over with tears.

"I love you so much, y/n, more than I thought I could love anyone and over these 3 years I've realised that I want to spend the rest of my life with you," you could feel the lump in your throat grow, "so y/n, would you do me the honour of becoming my wife?" He opened the box he had been holding in his hands, revealing a ring.

You shook your head, "Yes Jooheon, yes," was all you could say before your tears fled from your eyes. Jooheon slid the ring onto your finger then wrapped you in his embrace and kissed your head lovingly. He pulled away, wiping the tears from your cheeks. You kissed his lips gently and he smiled.

"You know," Jooheon started as he took your hand, "I was this close to rapping that whole thing." You laughed and started down the river-side path, "as much as I love you, Joo, I'm really gald you didn't." You giggled and he joined you in laughter as you two walked together in, what seemed like, endless happiness.
