He bolted upright in his bed, sweat beading on his forehead and dripping down his skull, his breathing heavy as his gaze whipped around the room. It was his room. More accurately, it was his old room. His room in the underground...
B-but that was impossible! He felt the bullet shatter through the side of his skull...
His hand shot up to the side of his skull, as he winced slightly when he felt a circular hole there with hairline cracks climbing up the rest of his head and climbing down to his jawline. A sudden thought came to his head and he whipped around, letting out a sigh of relief.
He, somehow, still had his wings. Which was strange though... He hadn't had them before... Neither the cracks... Maybe there was something wrong with the ki-
His expression darkened... The kid. He glared at the ground, hopping up out of his bed, feeling the familiar carpet beneath his feet. He walked towards the door, almost exiting into the hallway... Until he stopped, sudden realization dawning upon him...
He had changed a lot when they went to the surface, and not just his wings. Without the determination to stunt his growth he had grown a foot. It was enough that people were bound to notice. Especially since to them, he had been shorter just yesterday... Crap. He'd just have to try and avoid them but...his wings... Well that was another story.
He walked over to his old closet, opening up the door and glancing into the mirror quickly. Yep, taller, wings, cracked skull. Wonderful. He sighed, glancing at the clothing in the closet. By far nothing was even close to being long enough to cover up his wings. Now even long enough to be worn as a normal jacket on him anymore... Except for.... Maybe....
He reached around his normal clothes, pulling an old, dusty box from the back of the closet, pulling off the lid and frowning... Inside the box lay one of his dad's old winter coats. He took a breath to steady his shaking nerves, and took the jacket out of the box. It was the perfect size to conceal his wings if he held them as high up and as close to himself as possible...
He grabbed a belt out of the closet as well, shrugging off his shirt, revealing his cracked ribcage beneath, which had been injured during the whole clash with... them. He sighed, proceeding to attempt to fasten his wings in place. He would just have to worry about the breaks later. He put his shirt back on, and put the jacket on over that, pulling the hood up. He glanced back into the mirror, frowning.
It hid everything perfectly. Hopefully he'd manage to slip by unnoticed by most. He glanced over to his old desk, grabbing a pad of paper and a pen, ripping off a piece of paper as he sketched out a note for Papyrus.
"be gone for a few days. dont worry ill be back soon"
He sighed, glancing out into the hallway. Luckily it was still too early for even Papyrus to be awake yet. He quietly crept through the hallway, heading downstairs. He quickly tossed his note onto the table, and heading out the door, risking one last glance at the living room before heading outside into the snowy blizzard.

Frisk frowned at the ground, sidestepping the fireballs that were thrown at her from all sides. She dived to the right for the last time, pressing the mercy button, staring at her adoptive mother with a begging expression.
"Please stop this..." She signed, frowning.
Toriel sighed in defeat. She had already given her speech and she continued with the last of it as Frisk ran out, wrapping her in a hug. Toriel returned the hug, before giving the child the instructions to go, and to not return. Frisk sighed, frowning as she watched Toriel go. It still hurt, though she knew they were to be reunited in the end.
She turned to the dark purple doors of the ruins, taking one last deep breath before pushing it open and stepping through to the other side, continuing through the long darkened hallway before finally, pushing open the last door and stepping through into the snow, shivering as the wall of cold hit them.
They rubbed their arms as they trudged forward, the stick grasped firmly in their hands. They walked for a few minutes before crossing over the familiar stick, the one which Sans snapped before introducing himself... Wait Sans!
She looked around the trees, scanning them for a familiar face, but was met with nothing. Frowning, they continued forwards until they made it to the bridge where they suddenly got the feeling they were being watched, and not by friendly eyes. They shivered slightly, a chill crawling down their spine, but they shook themselves off, continuing forwards anyways, only to he stopped when someone grabbed their shoulder harshly, their fingers digging into her skin.
"Hey kid... D o n ' t y o u k n o w h o w t o g r e e t a n o l d p a l l." They growled.
Frisk shivered slightly, tears pricking at their eyes as they turned around to meet his gaze. Flickers of blue and white could be seen underneath the hood that concealed the majority of his face as he glared at them, waiting for their response...
Frisk let out a whine as tears started to flow down their face as they bolted forwards, wrapping their arms around Sans's middle as they hugged him while they sobbed. Sans went rigid before pushing her off of him, causing her to stumble and land on her butt. He glared at her, raising his fist... Only to let it fall and hang at his side as he turned around and walked back into the forest, not sparing them a second glance as Frisk was left scared and alone in the snow, sobbing their eyes out.

Somewhere else somebody else bolted awake, somebody rather important who had yet to show his face. Flowey looked around confused... He... Remembered... He remembered everything. He remembered the battle, the reset, the timeline, the... the.... Him being ripped to shreds by those monsters.
"W-what?! B-but how!" he growled, whipping around in confusion, only to be met with the same walls of dirt, and the same flower patch he always 'awoke' in.
He looked around, frantically searching for an explanation in his head, only to hear an eerily familiar voice.
"My child? Are you alright?" A voice asked from behind him.
Flowey whipped around, his eyes going wide. In his shock, he let out a fatal word.
"Mom?!" He exclaimed, before realizing his mistake and dissappearing into the ground as quickly as he possible could...
Toriel looked upon the spot the Flower had been but moments before, shock flitting across their features.
"A-Asriel?"
