Chapter Seventeen === Fireworks

I'z notz deadz!!! :D

I look below my S/C feet in horror. They added a new waterslide of which you stand on a platform and it drops you into the slide/tube, sending you quickly into the water.

I gulped, tightening my grip, making my knuckles red and white.

My stomach drops as the floor opened underneath me. "I REGRET EVERYTHING!" I shout, zipping down the slide.

After splashing into the water, I see Katelyn zipping down the other slide, "ZERO REGRETSSS!"

SPLASH!

She swims up, "That was AWESOME!"

"I guess it was kinda fun... but the drop SUCKED."

Katelyn laughs a bit, "My stomach dropped a bit, not gonna lie."

"Exactly."

We get out of the pool and lay out towels on the beach, laying in the sun together.

"So, having fun yet?" I asked her.

"Duh, this place just gets better every time I blink." She expressed, "But being here with you makes it even better."

"Awe, that was so cheesy I may cry."

We chuckled and intertwined out fingers.

The sun didn't seem to last long as it set, leaving a purpley-pink shade in the sky above.

Katelyn and I take our stuff and go back to our place, seeing everyone else go on the roof and joining them.

Everyone sat either in or on the side of the pool we had, so Katelyn and I sat on the side hand in hand.

Random fireworks began as we watched in awe, the fireworks along with the stars made the sky beautiful. I lean on Katelyn's shoulder and watch the sky.

Katelyn leans her head on mine and does the same, watching the fireworks in awe.

Everyone was happy where they were, sitting with their friends and loved ones... and me, I couldn't be happier.
