Adaline's P.O.V*

I sighed as I entered the cab, today's house hunting had been a total let down. Not only were they way out of my price range but they were so far away from my desired location.

After a depressing 15 minute cab ride back to the hotel, I handed the driver the money and grabbed my bag. "Have a nice day sweetheart" the man said before driving away. I spun around and headed inside, "well, back so soon?" I turned and saw Donavan leaning against a chair near the entrance. "Yup" I answered shortly, I just wanted to get back to my room and sleep after a long unsuccessful day. He stood up and took long strides until he was directly in front of me, "everything ok babe? You look stressed" he reached out and started rubbing my shoulders. I shrugged him off, "I'm fine" I replied as I started walking towards the elevator. I was relieved when I didn't hear foot steps following behind me. Once I entered the elevator I clicked on the button to my floor and leaned my head against the wall.

I was practically sleeping standing up before I heard the elevator ding indicating I had reached my floor. I reached in my bag and grabbed my keys as I walked to my door.

Once i was finally inside I dropped my bag near the door and let out a long exaggerated sigh. I was about to jump onto my bed but then I noticed that it was already occupied. I groaned in annoyance, "seriously you have to stop popping up in my room, it's getting old" I said as sally laughed and turned to face me. She stood up and made her way towards me. "someone's in a bad mood" she laughed as she started to twirl a piece of my hair around her finger, "house hunting didn't go well I'm guessing?" she smiled as she leaned in closer to my face. I backed away and just threw myself onto the bed "yes, now can you please let me sleep in piece?" It was quite for a minute, I would have thought she left if it wasn't for the fact that I hadn't heard the door open and close. Suddenly the bed dipped down and I snapped open my eyes. Sally was laying next to me bitting her lip with an almost innocent smile. I groaned turning over, "I really can't handle this right now" i mumbled before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.
