Sally's P.O.V*

I sighed in content as I gazed at her angelic face. Part of me is surprised she didn't come in here screaming at me, that's what I was expecting. I ran my hand over her face putting a piece of hair behind her ear. I moved in closer and bit my lip as I smiled, "you are such a pretty little thing" I whispered to her, knowing she couldn't hear me.

I placed a soft kiss on her cheek, then another on her forehead. I couldn't help the laugh that escaped my lips. She shifted a little and I backed up a bit. She moaned and cuddled herself into my neck, i couldn't hide my smile as I wrapped my arms around her.

"you need to stop this" my smile fell and I sat up slowly making sure not to wake Adaline. "And why would I do that" I asked looking at James who was standing in the doorway. He walked towards the bed until he was looming over me, "I really don't think you want to cross me, do you sally?" I looked over at Adaline before turning back to James. "What are you gonna do huh? Kill me" I started to laugh hysterically.

Adaline started to move and me and James fell silent. She sat up but her eyes were still closed, she moved her head around for a moment before she dropped back down.

I sighed "you need to leave you're gonna wake her" I hissed. James eyes darkened as he walked around the bed, crouching down so that his face was next to Adaline's. My heart started pounding as he moved up her shirt that had slipped down her shoulder. I reached out and pulled Adaline closer to me. James stood up quick, his eyes burning holes in me. "I'm not playing games sally, she's mine and you need to realize that before things go down hill for you" he snapped. I took a shaky breath and nodded, looking down at Adaline.

James smiled then turned and vanished. I let tears fall down my cheeks, I smiled at Adaline as makeup smeared under my eyes. "He wants to keep you for himself, but I won't let that happen baby girl" I leaned down and kissed the side of her face. My tears dripped down my nose onto her. I couldn't stop the chuckles leaving my mouth as I wiped her cheeks of my tears. I laid down with my arms around her and nuzzled my face into her neck. "I'm not gonna let him have you, you're mine".
