Dans pov:
It's October 31st, which was one of my favourite days for the past couple years, as it meant that you could get candy for free! Which was the only free food I could get. My eyes flutter open when I hear someone wake up in a panic. "Wait a minute". Phil says, looking round at my tired mess of a head. "What's wrong?" I ask concerned. "It's Halloween today, IT'S HALLOWEEN TODAY!" he shreaks, shaking my shoulders while falling on top of me. I groan to the sudden impact, but end up laughing at the state Phil is in. "Yeah, so?" He looks at me wide eyes. As if I've said something wrong. "Halloween, aka the creepiest Day on Earth!" I laugh harder as he jumps around in the bed. "We don't have outfits though," I announce. Phil begins looking around the room for some sort of inspiration. Suddenly his eyes drift upon something. "We can be each other's nicknames! I can be a bear, you can be a lion. I know it's the wrong way round, but isn't that adorable!" The fact that he is so excited creates a wide smile cross my face. "Okay dokey, lets do this." We leap out of bed in our boxers, and start rushing around to look for things to wear. "here they are" Phil says as he pulls out a large box filled with colorful clothes. I stand in one place as he begins throwing about random costumes. I see witches to vampires to horse heads, every type of outfit you can imagine. "Right" He starts. "We're about the same size so I'm sure this will fit you." Phil proceeds to hold an outfit up to my torso. "Yeah, that looks about right. and don't Forget the headpiece" he adds. Sitting a hairband on my head. "now time for mine-" Phil pauses when he notices the expression on my face. "What?" He asks. I laugh, bringing my hand to my head to take everything in. "I, I just didn't know you loved Halloween this much" I admit, overwhelmed by the overload of fancy dress costumes. "Yup, I'm obsessed. But I Don't like going out dressed up. I like to sit inside and eat sweets all night". We laugh lightly while Phil continues to look through clothes. Eventually he finds an adorable bear onsie. "Awe! How do you have all these?" Phil looks at me with a 'really?' expression. "Well, I am obsessed".

"Want some?" Phil asks as he pulls out a packet of popcorn and puts it in the microwave. "Yes please" I reply. "So what's the first horror for our movie marathon?" The older boy pours us some cups of tea and comes over, placing them on the coffee table in front . "Well. We've got scream, poltergeist, the exorcist, anything you want." I smile over at him while he's finishing up with the popcorn. "Do you have insidious? I was wanting to go see it cinemas a long time ago" I announce. I watch Phil strole over to where I'm sitting. "umm, I'm a movie junkie, but I'm gonna have to use Netflix for that" I make a sarcastic shocked face as Phil comes sit next to me on the couch, snuggling close to me. He then turns on Netflix and starts searching for insidious. We eventually find it, and the prologue begins. "Last kiss before it starts" I whisper into Phil's ear. He laughs, twisting his body towards me for a better angle. And then we kiss. My hands slither round his torso. "Let's not get to scared shall we?" I snigger to his statement before resting my head on Phil's shoulder. Let the marathon begin!

Phil's pov:
Dan cuddles as close as he can to me when a creepy scene from "nightmare on elm Street" is on the TV. "Aah!" he shreaks, nearly losing his voice. I wrap an arm around him while he cowars away from the light illuminating the room around us. He giggles against my chest. "Ah why the fuck am I screaming?" He asks. I let out a little Laugh. "Who knows, is this movie too old for you to be watching?" I joke. "Hey!" Dan scowls, lightly punching my chest in annoyance. "I'm 18, not a 6 year old" He says sarcastically. I nuzzle into the wavey mess that is his hair. The next scene on is the bathtub scene, -maybe I could scare Dan?- I think to myself. I watch carefully as the hand appears out of the water, mirroring it by using my hand to tickle dans neck. "AAAAH!" he screams, flailing his arms about uncontrollably out of fear. "PHIIILLL!" My eyes crinkle at the corners from laughing too much, Dan's cheeks flush cherry red. His attempt at hiding a smile fails miserably, and he ends up looking like the "success kid" meme. "You look like a hamster that has food in its mouth!" I choke from laughter. He can't help himself from laughing either, and we end up in a mess of tears, sweat and giggles. "Oh god, do you think the heat is getting to us?" Dan questions. I look down at our baggy, oversized onsies that are holding a lot of nastiness. "Nah! But if you want you don't have to wear as much, even nothing at all". I try my sexiest smirk, (That probably looks like a dog that's been called a 'good boy'). My arms snakes around his shoulders, I wink, making Dan shake his head. Giving a soft laugh. "You're a horny shit, aren't you lester?" Dan looks me up and down, his lip bite over exaggerated. "Look who's talking now, ay Howell?" I exclaim. I stare into the Glossy dark pools that are the eyes of Dan Howell. His slightly tanned skin makes his lips appear more vibrant than what they really are. We stare, stare in silence until it's almost comical. I make the first move, my hand reaching for Dans back. He arches it as our chests collide. I reach over, not breaking eye contact, and pause the movie. "Is this another moment?" Dans voice is smooth, making me get lost in the gaze for longer. "Only if you want it to be". Our lips touch. A sensual moment is happening. One thing that Dan and I haven't had. His hands push weakly on my chest, I fall backwards onto the beige sofa. The moment doesn't last long, when someone knocks on our door. Dan sits up so the he is resting on my thighs. "I'll go check who it is. It's probably just a 'trick or treater' from the building". Although there is nothing to be worried about, there is still a glint of fear in dans eyes. I gently rub his back while kicking my legs over to get the door. "Who is it?" I ask, expecting a reply. Nothing. I open the apartment door but no-one is there. Maybe it was a 'ding dong ditcher'. Before closing the door, my eyes drift upon a little brown parcel sitting outside. It's tied in the perfect little bow, with my address and name on it. I pick it up curiously, bringing it in to my odd little flat. "Who was it?" Dans voice echoes through the hall. "No-one" I reply. "But there was a parcel". He lifts himself up from his lying position, so that he is now sitting up straight. "Do you know who it is from?" Dan asks. I ring my head trying to think of something I was expecting. But nothing comes to mind. I shake my head, still staring at the peculiar box. "Well open it then" Dan insists. I begin undoing the rope ribbon when I notice something else. Dans name. His entire name. I look up at him,  a lost expression covering his face. "I'm sure it's nothing" I say, not believing myself either. I pull off the paper and open the box. It's completely empty. Except for a letter and book. Dan grabs the box off of me, picking up the book in a speedy motion. "Read it" He hands the letter over to me. I don't question it, just do as I'm told.
"Hey Dan, Phil.
I suspect that you've seen the news right now. And I'm pretty sure you didn't see this coming. Here's a memory book, full of pictures and shit. Enjoy it. Lots and lots of love - Sammy.
Your step mothe-"
I don't finish my sentence when my hand flies to my mouth. "Her!" I shout angrily, throwing the note across the room. "How the fuck has she done this! That bitch is in prison after the shit she put you through. And now this bullshit!-" I get cut off again, but this time by Dan. "Breath" He instructs, holding onto my shoulders. I take one deep breath while resting my head on Dan's shoulder, close to his neck. "I thought you were safe, I didn't think anyone would expect you to be here. I promised you that you wouldn't have to deal with this again. I'm sorry. I've failed." I weap helplessly into the younger boys grip. His hand comforting me gently. "Don't you dare apologize. You have done nothing wrong. None of us expected this. And I know that this isn't the last of it. She told us that on TV, remember?" Chills ache my bones when I think about watching her walk into prison. What I thought was her walking away. Dan sounds so strong right now, but he is shaking terribly. He is shaken. I am shaken. We will help each other through this. But I can tell, it's not going to be easy.

Ooft that was long! This chapter was so much fun to write since I didn't have any ideas of what to do. Everything happened as I was writing it. I should do that more! Anyway, hope y'all enjoyed!
