Why is the Devil always protrayed as the villian?
He refused to obey God and love humanity. And yet, he was right to do so.
Humanity is everything that is wrong in the world, we are the epitome of sin, so why would Lucifer love us? How could he love us when we don't even love ourselves?
And he's evil because he rules Hell? Well he punishes the souls who do that which God does not want, so therefore isnt he a good guy?I believe that God is actually the villian here. He created us. Names us his "Greatest Creation" and yet we scoff at him and we kill each other, we steal and we lust. Any God who can create something as flawed as us and consider us perfect is no great saviour.
God is the greatest villian in history, he has the power to stop all the pain and poverty in this world. And yet he doesnt. He allows us to slaughter in his name, to steal and lie.
Lucifer isnt the Villian.
God isnt the Hero.
And we are the cause of our own problems.
