I feel like there is no faith in humanity anymore. I feel as though we have all given up our hope and sold our souls for the chance to be a little cooler, a bit richer, more comfortable in life. There's no more songs focusing on bettering ourselves. Only songs about how we are better than others. Our poets no longer write lovely odes but we write slam poetry in an attempt to make our words heard because only bluntness will open peoples ears. We no longer care about our fellow man and yet in this day and age we cannot go more than 5 minutes without talking to someone because we are so connected and yet so separated. We are constantly moments from our next communication and yet conversations are so outdated. How is there any more faith in humanity if humanity can no longer create faith without someone showing them how to on a YouTube video or DIY NETWORK. We are the most innovative generation the world has ever seen and yet we do not have a single solitary original thought. So unless we can rediscover out originality and learn to inspire ourselves to think harder, love more, stop communicating and start conversating than I'm afraid humanity has no hope.
