Flying To Him.

Katelyn's POV

Today is Chan's first day back from the cruise, which means we'll have to shoot all of the scenes we have together today. Since I'm going on my flight tomorrow, It shouldn't be to hard since I don't have many scenes. I don't have much screen time this season, however, I was promised a lot more in the next season.

I'm in a really happy mood today so I get to work early. It's probably because of me being excited for tomorrow. I go to my dressing room to grab breakfast and get ready.

I hear the front door open and people saying hi to chandler. I run out of my dressing room and jump on chandlers back.

"Heyyyyy chandler, your baaaacckk!!" I say still on his back.

"Heyyyyy Kate, yeah I ammmm!" He says mocking me.

I get off his back and he turns to me with a confused expression.

"Why are you so excited to see me?" He asks.

"Your my best friend why wouldn't I be?!" I say with a smile.

"Well, I thought you were still mad at me." Chan says with a blank expression.

My smile fades as I remember what happened before he left. But I don't care. I'm not going to let this bring down my happy mood. I am nearly over chandler. And once I'm completely over chandler every thing will go back to normal.

Chan took a pause but continued. "And you didn't answer my text so I thought you were still mad."

I thought about what he was saying for a minute. " Well as for the day before you left, I'm sorry. I was over reactive." I'm not. I still stand by what I said. I just want us to be friends again.

"And also, why would I text back to a text that was accidentally sent to me haha?"

"Uh yeah, I guess your right." Chandler says looking down at his feet.

I knew the massage wasn't sent on accident but I don't want him to know that.

"OK well this is getting awkward real fast! So let's get I to the dressing rooms and get ready." Robert says putting his hands on both of our backs and nudging us into our different dressing rooms.

Chandler's POV

Once I was in my dressing room I shut the door and leaned against it, slowly sliding down until I hit the floor in a sitting Position on the floor. I pick up the small brown paper bag and pull out the petal necklace.

"*sigh* why did I have to bring that stuff up." I set the necklace down on a small table next to the door.

I reach into the paper bag again and pulled out the eye locket I bought. I placed it around my neck and got up. People came in to help me with my makeup and clothes.

Katelyn's POV

Once we are done it's time to say goodbye to everyone because I won't be at work tomorrow since I'm going to be on the flight.

The last person I needed to say bye to was chandler. I went to his dressing room where he was sitting in front of the mirror playing on his phone. I knocked on the already open door which made him jump.

"Hey. I won't be in town for the next week. I'm visiting Mingus." He scooted the chair a little closer so we could talk more comfortably.

"Yeah I was wondering why we had to shoot all of our scenes together today."

"But anyways I just wanted to say bye since I won't be seeing you anytime soon!" I say with a smile.

"Yeah be safe OK? And have fun." He smiled. "And dont forget to text me!"

We laughed and I say. "I won't... don't worry. I'll end up seeing a funny meme and have to text you or something stupid like that!"

After we laughed for awhile we hugged and it was time for me to leave. I was heading out the door but stopped in my tracks. On the side table next to the door was a small necklace with a red thread.

I pick it up and say "What's this?"

He turns and says "Oh thats yours! I got it at the airport. I was going to give it the you earlier but got distracted."

"Haha well thank you! And by 'distracted' you mean dragged away?" I laughed.

"Ahaha yeah! But look I got a necklace from the same place too." he pulled out an eye shaped necklace from under his shirt.

"To be honest I like yours a bit more... it's mysterious." He gets up from his seat and brings the necklace over my head and around my neck then turns me towards the mirror pulling my hair out from under the necklace.

"You look beautiful in it... but seriously stay safe. I dont want to see the news saying 'local the walking dead star, Katelyn nacon, hit by a car because she was texting memes to her stupid friend'!" He says jokingly.

"OK will do- be careful, not get hit by the car ahaha!" I leave and get ready for my flight.

I finally make it to Mingus's. We are walking to a cafè since I haven't had any real food in the last few hours. Some paparazzi follow us but eventually goes away. We just kind of sat and talk at the cafè. I can't wait for the rest of the week, just the way he talks makes me know I am going to love this trip. 💕
