"The Apple of Eternity? What's that? And why are there tons of apples everywhere?" Shella asked. "Apples are the fruit that contain the most magic, and that's why the Jokle is protecting them. The Apple of Eternity is a most important Apple, it keeps the Jokle forever living, when it's gone, the Jokle will start to fall apart," Alabera said. "First off, this is a lot to take in. How come just us four survived the attack at the school? And how were we transported here?" Brix asked confused. "You see, there's a reason why you didn't disappear. All of you contain a special aura, auras that could change the world. I sent a small but powerful tornado to pick your tree up and bring it here. The four of you will need to go through special training, the school taught you basics. After the training, you'll be asked to go after your friend Shak, for it was he who stole The Apple of Eternity and attacked the school. Are you ready?"  Alabera said. The young mages stood there for a little while, for it was a lot to take in. They had basically just been asked to go after their friend, but was  he really a friend now? "I'm in. The Jokle is an important place, and if Shak has The Apple of Eternity, he'll live forever," Kai said. The other young mages nodded in agreement. "Follow me then," Alabera said. Before he led them out, he whispered something to the room, and it felt like a fierce but silent wind had flown through the room. Alabera beckoned to the young mages to follow him out. Alabera led them to two large oak doors. Alabera opened them, revealing a large room both in length and width. Bookshelves lined the walls with books piling inside. Practice wands, shields, and armour also were hung on the walls. What looked like a match circle was in the center of the room. "What is this? The training room?" Brix asked. "Correct young fire mage, all of you will be sparring today. Grab a practice wand and a spellbook of your choice," Alabera said. The young mages reluctantly grabbed a wand and spellbook, each choosing a book that specified their specialty magic. "Sorry I never asked, but what are your names?" Alabera asked. The young mages each told their names to Alabera. Alabera nodded his head and said,"Alright I want Brix and Shella up first." Alabera beckoned his hand towards the sparring ring. The two girls flipped through the spellbooks, Brix finding one first. "Flamus shootus!" She shouted and a flame flew out of her hand, straight towards Shella. Shella ducked and shouted,"Leggus elongus!" Shella's leg stretched and hit Brix hard. Brix fell to the floor from the impact. "Ugh!" She said. Brix found another spell and shouted," Flamus ringus surroundus Shella!" A ring of fire surrounded Shella, she was trapped. "All right I think that's enough," Alabera said and he waved his hand and the fire ring disappeared. The two girls walked off glaring at each other. "Kai and Dan?" Alabera asked. The two boys nodded and walked into the sparring ring. Kai acted quick yelling,"Vinus Wippus!" A vine from Kai's hand smacked Dan across the face. "Sorry Dan!" he said. "There are no apologies during sparring," Dan said. Dan flipped through his spellbook and found an interesting spell. "Electrode conjouro!" An electronic robot appeared and started zapping Kai with mini electric blasts. "Greenus shieldo!" Kai shouted. A green shield came up in front of Kai and blocked the mini electric blasts. "Alright, nice job boys," Alabera said. The electrode disappeared as well as the shield. "Nice defense Kai, and very good spell Dan," Alabera complimented to the boys. "And girls, nice job to the both of you," he added. "You will  leave tomorrow with my guides Alura and Bridget, they're about your age, are you young mages thirteen?" Alabera asked. The four kids nodded. "Ok, that's perfect then. You have proven to me today that all of you are very special mages," he added. "We're not exactly mages yet Alabera, and are we really ready?" Kai asked. "Ahh well you soon will be, for you're going to go get your staffs today. And yes, in my mind and eyes, you are ready," Alabera said with a smile. "Really?!" Brix asked excitedly. Alabera nodded and beckoned to follow him out. Alabera led them to a giant room with tons of staffs, the room where you chose your wielding magic tool. The four young mages picked up staffs and closed their eyes, without Alabera even telling them to. Alabera looked on in wonder as an emerald and leaves flew to Kai's staff, floating above. A topaz and lightning bolt flew to Dan's, floating above, and a flame and a ruby to Brix's. Then a large water droplet and a ribbon flew to Shella's. An emerald robe flew to Kai, with emeralds and leaves decorated on it. A red robe flew to Brix with flames and rubies decorated on it, and a golden robe with topaz and lightning bolts decorated on it flew to Dan. A blue robe flew to Shella with water droplets and ribbons on it. The kids opened their eyes and turned to face Alabera, robe on and staff in hand. Alabera was shocked, why were there two different kinds of magic merged together on each staff. "Alabera, we just felt at peace, and images flashes through our minds, of the things we have on our staffs and robes,"'Kai told Alabera. "I know, but I think you four have to leave with Alura and Bridget now. The same thing happened with them. Alura has ice and sapphire, and Bridget with electric and amethyst," Alabera said. "There is much to be done."
