Time That's Passed

Chapter. 3

Matthew's POV

I couldn't help but stare at Olivia as she walked out of the house, I mean who wouldn't?! And I know that all the guys agreed to get over their tiny crushes on her but.........

I think I may have liked her.......

I mean we had spent our entire summer together and Olivia had told me that she didn't feel like Johnson cared while he was away......

But Johnson was one of my closest friends and I couldn't betray his trust like that, could I?..........NO I COULDN'T!

Olivia's POV

I noticed Matt staring at me as I walked out, so I smiled and waved, but he was so deep I thought that he didn't notice.

I laughed to myself.
"What's so funny baby?"
Johnson asked wrapping his arm around me.

"I waved at Matt but he's so lost in thought he didn't notice"
I said, laughing once more.

"That's Matthew for ya!"
He said jokingly, we laughed as Emily and Ella joined us by the pool.

"You guys wanna get your swim suits on?"
I asked the girls.
"Hell yeah! Swimmin' time!"

Emily yelled, I laughed at her and turned to Ella.
"I'm down!"
She said, and we headed for the house.

Someone else ran up behind us, I turned around to see Madison.

"Hey! You getting ready too?"
I asked slowing down to walk next to her.
"Yeah! If you don't mind me coming with you!"
She said smiling.

"I don't mind at all!"
I said walking up the stairs.

Time skip

It took us 15 minutes but we were finally ready.

Ella was wearing a purple two piece with gold lining and fringe.
Emily wore a blue two piece with a black tribal pattern on the front.

I wore a black two piece that was a triangle top wth stringy bottoms.
And Madison wore a white body suit that had a dipped back.

"We look hot!"
Emily said smiling.
"Annnnnd in front of Nash!"

I said nudging her arm. She started blushing a bit.
"And don't think I forgot about you and my big Shark!"

I said raising an eyebrow at Ella, she just smiled.

"Alright let's go!"
I said jumping jumping down the stairs. As we headed out the doors I imagined the song Attention by Charlie Puth playing.

And we did get A LOT of attention, whistles and "woos!" Came from the guys as we walked out the doors.

Johnson walked over wrapping his arms around my waist.

"You look hot!"
He said smiling, I pecked his lips.
"Go get yours on and let's swim!"

I said jumping back, and walking towards the pool.
"Alright I won't be too long!"

He said running towards the house, I jus laughed as I grabbed Emily and jumped in.

"Hey! You jerk!"
Emily said bobbing her head up from the water.

"That's my job as your best friend!"
I said swimming away from her, scared she was gonna dunk me.

But that thought was soon interrupted by someone jumping in and pulling me under water.

When I emerged I saw Matt dying of laughter.
"Matthew Lee!!"
I screamed jumping on his shoulders.

"Sorry but that's payback for earlier!"
He said, still laughing but this time I joined in.
"Let's play chicken!"

I yelled holding onto Matts shoulders.
"Alright! Emily! Nash! Chicken?"
Matt screamed.

Emily climbed up on top of Nash's shoulders, which I guess meant they wanted to play.

Matt ran towards them and I clutched into him, that's when I looked a little to my left to see Johnson walk out.

He looked a little sad actually, but I brushed it off thinking he was only joking around like he always does.

Soon Emily and I clashed hands, trying to push each other off the guys' shoulders, soon I pushed Emily so hard that both Mash and her smacked the water with a thud.

"We win!"
I said throwing my hands up, Matt lowered into the water to let me off his shoulders.

I gave him a quick hug.
"Having fun?"
Johnson's said asking up next to us.

"DUH!"
I said jumping onto Johnson's back.
"Then let's swim!"

Johnson said taking off, Matt swam towards the other guys, I felt a little bad, but why?

Time skip

Madison started to play some music off her playlist, the song Humble by Kendrick Lamar came on.

I got out to dry off, and what other way then too dance?! Everyone joined in after that.

It was perfect, and it was only the first night here, what could possibly go wrong?

It was 10:30 pm and I needed to shower so I headed upstairs, when I got into my room I locked the door and went into the bathroom.

I looked in the mirror, during the summer I put a few highlights in my hair and they were beginning to fade.

I smiled, not because I thought I looked good, but because I thought of where I am now, who I've met and how my life is.

It's perfect.........
