________________________Layla's POV
"YESS! AMERICA!" Jackson cries, running out of the plane and hugging a pillar. After the party- which was a success- we spent an extra ten days in Korea. During those ten days we spent every minute with each other. We've been together for almost 3 months and so much has happened.
"Oh come on. I want to get home as soon as possible. Let go of the pole Jackson." I complain, walking over to him. I pry him off of the pole and pull him towards the exit.
It was nine at night when drove home in a car that I had called ahead for. I drop Jackson off at home since we have to go to school tomorrow. He kisses me goodbye, and I have the driver take me home.
I thank him and walk inside. It felt good being in my home again. I take my bag and start unpacking. I see the house keepers kept the house nice and clean. I walk over to my bed and fling myself onto the soft mattress, letting out a groan. My phone buzzed beside me, its screen turning bright. I unlock it and see it's a text from Stephen, a friend of mine from student council.
Stephen: Hey Layla! Welcome back from Korea! We got two new students. They're Heirs like you. Her mom married CEO Chris King and he has a son. Chris King is the one who helps sponsor the scholarship kids. They starts tomorrow. Think you could show them around?
Layla: Yea no problem. Whats their names?
Stephen: Great! Thanks so much. Their names are Cynthia Diaz and Devin King. Meet them in the office before class starts?
Layla: Absolutely.
Stephen: Awesome! I'll see you tomorrow
New students? Wonder what they'll be like.
I change into sweats and a large shirt before plugging in my phone and falling into bed.
The next morning, I am awoke by that damn alarm clock again. I roll over and slap it a few times before it shuts off. It was almost 7 in the morning and I already wish for death. I shower then dry my hair, while I try to decide what to wear. I finally decide on a white crop top, blue high waisted jean shorts, a red, white, and blue flannel [A/N AMERICA! FUCK YEA!] and black converse high tops. I brush my hair, the blonde highlights still very prominent, then brush my teeth and decided against make up, except for some mascara because for once my skin looked really good today. I walk over to my jewelry box and slide on the ring Jackson gave me.
I walk down the stairs and grab my keys. Thank god the weather had lightened up while I was gone. I grab my bag and sunglasses before walking out of the front door and down to my car. Oh how I missed my Mazda. I plug my phone in and Bruno Mars "That's What I Like" plays. I pull up to a stop light. It's always this damn light, but the streets were almost completely empty, so I don't understand why I have a red light when no one's coming!
Soon a pure black speed bike pulled up to me. I roll down my window and lean out.
"Hey mister! You gotta girlfriend?" I ask. He takes off his helmet and I see a smirking Jackson.
"Sorry, but I do. A very beautiful, intelligent, funny, sweet girl named Layla Tulay."
"She must be a lucky girl."
"You got a boyfriend miss?"
"I do in fact. He's very handsome, funny, sarcastic and intelligent. His name's Jackson Grey. Maybe you've herd of him."
"I have. And he's damn lucky to have a pretty girl like yourself." Jackson winked at me before pulling his helmet back on and speed through the streats. I left the window down and drove to school.
Pulling into my spot I grab my phone and bag and step out of the car. I see Jackson's bike in his spot, but he wasn't there. I close the car door and look around. Suddenly hands cover my eyes.
"Guess who." Jackson says with a really awful high pitched voice. I knew it was him because of the ring, plus I could smell his cologne. He smelt like a mixture of clean soap and something else.
"Hmm is it Aria? Maybe Nathan?" I say tapping my chin.
"Who's Nathan?" He asks pulling his hands away.
"No one!" I say turning around and giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I love your outfit today by the way."
He had on black jeans, a white t-shirt, and black converse. He held his arms out. I walked around as if I was inspecting him.
"Do I pass your judgement ma'am?" He asks looking down at me.
"Hmmmm..." I say stopping in front of him. "Totally." I smile.
He takes my hand in mine and we walk towards school. I was feeling super nervous. I really didn't like people at school, well more like people my age. We stop in front of the door and Jackson looks at me.
"Are you okay baby?" He asks squeezing my hand softly. I nod my head, when a thought popped into my head.
"SHIT! Im supposed to show these new kids around! Ive gotta go." I say quickly. I kiss Jackson and he smiles at me. I run towards the front office and stop a few feet away to compose myself. I brush my hair back and walk towards the door, opening it.
In front of me I see a really pretty girl. Like really pretty. She had long black hair, tan skin, and green eyes. The boy next to her was super tall, tan skin, light brown hair and blue eyes. I walk over to them and smile slightly. They both gave me friendly smiles.
"Hi, I'm Layla Tulay. I'll be showing you guys around." I say reaching out to shake their hands.
"It's nice to meet you. But I don't think you'll have to show me around. I went here for a year before I moved." The girl, Cynthia says smiling apologetically while shaking my hand.
"Oh it's okay. Makes my life just slightly easier. You must be Devin." I say turning to the boy, offering him my hand.
"Devin King. It's nice to meet you." He said shaking my hand.
"Okay well, hand me your schedule. As an Heir, the three of us will have our core classes together. So that's math, english, science, and business. You'll have three electives, and then a lunch period. You are welcome to join any after school activities, but since you came so late into the school year I wouldn't recommend it." I say. They both nodded their heads, processing the information I gave them.
"Well, let's get going." I say, leading them out of the office and into the halls.
