For most of her life Ginko had thought she was a mistake. Her parents had constantly berated her, saying all their problems were because of her, because she was born. Her whole world was one big ball of anger, until one day when she was twelve, a day which she remembered well. Her parents had crammed her in their small crowded car and had driven for a long, long time, all the way into the deepest part of the woods. They pushed her out; Oridium, her dog trailing behind her. "What are we doing here?" Ginko said. Her parents said nothing as her Dad revved the engine and started to drive off without her. "Mommy!" Ginko screamed. "Daddy!" "Don't leave me. Please! Please Mommy!" Ginko screamed and ran after the car until she thought her lungs were going to burst. Tears streamed from her dark, hazel eyes as she fell to the ground in an overwhelming state of shock and terror. As long as she had been alive, the only things her parents had been were abusive, but they were still her parents and they were the only thing she had even known.
