"Today we will be trying to catch flying sparrows. Each person will get three chances to catch one. If you fail you get an F for the day. Is that understood? Great!"
The teacher calls a few kids up and one fails. Tuff luck. Kiva lays down to watch but then the teacher calls her up. With an annoyed growl she goes over to the teacher. And I laugh a little in my head.
He releases the sparrow and Kiva stalks a spot under the bird. Then in a split second has the bird in her jaws. She drops the bird on the ground and points her head to the birds then the sky. The teacher nods his head and releases another bird. This time Kiva backs up, looks at the bird, runs toward the tree, then jumps and catches the bird yet again in her mouth.
While landing on the ground she falls on her tail. I walk over to her and help her up.

Everyone goes and a few people fail but everyone I'm concerned about passes.

The bell rings and everyone heads to the cafeteria for lunch. I try to take Kiva to my table but Jaz growls at me and bites my hand. Soooo she ended up taking Kiva away from me. I want to pout but Zander will make fun of me if I do. I swear he can be the best friend I could have ever wished for or he can be a total jerk. Someone grabs my shoulder an I turn around to punch them but stop when I realize it's just Jordan.( Zander's mate)
"What's up?"
"You didn't tell me you found your mate? I thought we were best friends?"
"No Jordan we aren't best friends. My best friend is your mate, my beta, Zander."
"That's mean Jules!"
"And that's not my name. And if you can't get that right call me alpha."
"No can do I call Zander alpha---"
I slap my hand over his mouth. The one thing I can't stand about him and Zander is that the will bring up there personal things like that to me.
"Shut up you nasty."
Jordan licks my hand then laughs. I wipe my hand off on his shirt then pay for my food and sit down at my table. Jordan sits on the left of Zander who is sitting beside me.
"Your mate's talking dirty again fix him before my fist does."
"Touch him and I kill you."
Zander says in a deadpan voice. Then Zander looks up from his food at me. I give him the same look. We all laugh a little then eat our food.

Jasmine takes me to the library and we eat lunch in the back of it. There is a window and I have the perfect view of outside. I see birch and oak trees, a pathway leading to a gazebo, and a few squirrels running around.
"Hey I have a question?" Jasmine interrupts my thoughts and I look at her.
"What's up?"
"How do you feel about your mate? I mean he is the alpha, and ya know."
"I don't know to be honest. I mean I'm not really sure that I can be in the position that I have been granted. The Luna is a big deal."
"I didn't mean about being Luna I meant your feelings. You found your mate. How do you feel about having your mate?"
"Nervous."
Jasmine smiles at me then gives me a hug.

I walk over to my motorcycle and start it. Right before I put my helmet on Julius walks over to me.
"Hey I wanted to ask if you want to come over to my house and hang out."
"I'm sorry I have to go home my parents wouldn't be happy if I'm late."
Julius sulks and I give him a hug.
"Don't sulk we will see each other tomorrow. Okay?"
He nods his head and walks away while I zoom off to get home as soon as possible. I get home and as soon as I walk in I smell beer. I look into the living room and see my dad and mom drunk. I take a step back and accidentally step on Ruben's chew toy.
"GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE!"
My dad yells and I walk in with my head low. My mom stood up tripping while walking over to me. Then she slapped me and I fell onto the floor.
