We go downstairs and Nina my maid/favorite old person is using magic to cook.
"I could hire people from the culinary pack to help you."
She turns around and looks at us. Well me and she looks a little annoyed.
"I don't need help. Plus I'm probably the best cook out of all of them including that alpha of theirs." She says with the roll of her eyes.
Kiva giggles a little an both Nina and my attention turns towards her.
"Do you not like that pack? I used to have a friend who lives in that pack before she was kidnapped by a rouge. She was so nice." Kiva looked like she was reliving a memory. She then snapped out of it when Nina started talking.
"It's a yes and no. I had a fighter who moved to that pack with her mate. They had a daughter and lived as close to the border closest to this pack so they could visit me with ease. The alpha at the time didn't like that they lived close to the border. Tried to order them to move to the pack house permanently. I wanted to slap that son of a bitch so hard. Anyway one day rouges attack the pack. They took my granddaughter. The alpha didn't even try to get her back home."
"Oh... what was her name?"
"Nami alstra." Kiva froze and I got worried fast and so did Nina. We tried to shake her out of her state but that didn't work.
I then cupped her cheeks with my hands. Then traced small circles on her cheeks. Bet she still didn't snap out of it I gently placed my lips on hers and started to move them lightly. She responded a few seconds later and we starter to move our lips at the same pace. Our kiss didn't get heated but did last a while.
"What's wrong?" I asked letting my worried show not caring.
"Nami alstra was my friend I was taking about."
She then looked over at Nina who ran up and hugged her.
She lost her friend to rouges. My wolf whimpered. We should tell Ian. Maybe he will look for her if we tell him our mate wants to see if she still is alive. Mate are his weakness after all. My wolf is right. Because Ian couldn't find his mate he has been a little weak when someone talks about them. "I will in a little bit when we have privacy I'll mind link him." My wolf purred a little at the idea of pleasing and making Kiva and her wolf happy.
