Chapter 12 - Mysterious Traveler
Steven's POV
It's 8AM already and we're going to leave the mansion because the pool party is over.
I'm not that tired because I didn't join the activities like volleyball but I really enjoyed it.
Sarah looks exhausted so I offered her a hand on her things which she happily accepted. Sarah looks so happy today and I don't know why. On the same side, she looks very tired that I guess she might do nothing today but sleep and eat. She dragged me vigorously until we reached her house. I opened the door for her to enter and I noticed that the bushes are making up noises again just like yesterday. I quickly went there to check it out and I saw Princess, our cat, eating a can of tuna.
It's somehow weird because, how the hell can she open a can of tuna? She's a cat for pete's sake. Then, I saw a shadow which means there's a person behind me. I turned around and saw a girl in her adolescence and she looks cute. She handed the cat another can of tuna.
"So you're the one who's feeding this cat?" I stated the obvious but I wanted to know if she is or not.
"Well, yeah. I saw her awhile ago when I was traveling the city. She looks so cute and hungry so I handed her a can of tuna. But sadly, she ran away from me taking the tuna with her. I found her in the bushes a few minutes ago then handed her a second batch of tuna. She looks fine with me now and she's now eating the third can of tuna."
"Oh by the way. My name is Ellen Lorick." She said as she offered me a handshake. I gladly reached her hand and we shook hands.
"Do you want to come in?" I said offering her to come in to Sarah's house. She nodded and followed me until we reach the doorway. I opened the door because she was holding Princess and I was holding nothing. When I opened the door, I saw Sarah holding a plate full of bacon and eggs and after she put it on the table, she quickly went to our way.
"Hey Steven. Who's she? Guest? And why is she holding Princess?"
"Uhhh," The only thing I said because of the questions threw to my face.
"My name is Ellen Lorick. A Norwegian girl who lives next door." She paused. "I found your pet roaming around the streets and I gave her some cans of tuna and I found Steven then he said that it's your pet." She said while she hands Princess to Sarah. Sarah gladly accepted Princess then she went in our room to put Princess in her "house".
She came down and offered Ellen to join us. She happily sat down and started eating.
"Thank you Ellen, for getting our cat Princess here. Without you, Princess might be lost in the city. Poor Princess! And how the hell did she manage to go outside when we locked the house?" Sarah asked, looking at me then I raised one eyebrow on her. What is she thinking? That I came here to let Princess go? Oh God if yes, I will smack her in the face. Just kidding, but I would not do that. In her face.
After we ate, Sarah and I cleaned the table and put the dishes on the sink then she washed the plates and such. Ellen pulled me to the balcony because she said she needed some air.
"Hey. Why did you bring me here? I mean why did you go here with me?" I asked her before she touched my chest.
**
"Where am I?" I asked not because I'm not used to this but I literally don't know where I am.
"You're in my place." Ellen appeared out of nowhere. Seriously, isn't she a normal human being? "I brought you here because I needed to ask you something."
"Yeah, whatever." I said rolling my eyes. "What is it?"
"It's because of this." She said as something appeared on her hands. A weapon? No, it's a watch.
