Chapter 20 - Remembering His Past 「Editing in Progress」
Steven's POV
It's been five days since the war started and West Sophia didn't make any moves yet. King Arthur and his army are always ready in case they attack us.
"I wonder why that replica of Sarah killed the king." Yuki said as she sipped her coffee.
"I don't know." I muttered. I'm also thinking of some things that made that replica of Sarah kill our Queen.
"Maybe it's one of the plans of-" Yuki didn't even manage to finish her sentence as we hear a noise and an alarm, the alarm of emergency, and we quickly dashed to some bullets that was going to hit us.
"Well, that was close." Yuki chuckled that made me sigh.
"Help!" Ellen screamed and we followed the voice. We found her in a room full of dead people. I can smell the gunpowder they used to kill them.
Innocent people got killed in this war. Now I remember it.
"Steven!" She screamed and jumped to hug me tight. "Someone barged in this room a few seconds ago and showered us with bullets."
"Same. We're like walking in the hallway when a flock of bullets came to us. Good thing I saw it before it hit us." Yuki said proudly while Ellen shook in fear.
"We need to evacuate them before someone will get hurt." Ellen said as we left the room.

We heard gunshots and screams and I did want to help them but I don't have a weapon. Yuki said that we need to find King Henry and his army first so we can backfire West Sophia.
"Found it." Yuki said after few minutes, tracking King Henry and his army. "They're not here though. They're in the mountains, hiding."
"What?" I said loudly that made some evil soldiers looked and pointed guns to us. Ellen quickly hugged me tight as Yuki cast a teleportation spell.

"Where are we?" Ellen asked. Yuki turned to us in horror. We saw her face full of blood, not her blood, and it's really disgusting to see. Before Ellen say something, Yuki held a hand to stop her from asking.
"Never mind this. Not my blood." She said as she casted a spell to clean her body.
"Now we just need to find them." I said while they both nodded in agreement.
"I wonder why they are hiding from West Sophia." Ellen said while I moved some tree trunks on the way.
"I also wonder, Ellen." I said, emphasizing Ellen, as she blushed and hid her face at my back.
"They're near to us. Hide." Yuki snapped and pulled us down.
"They'll never find us." King Henry chuckled after saying that, followed by his stupid knights.
"Gosh they laugh horrible." Ellen said sarcastically while we just look at her in surprise.
"I guess you're not innocent at all." Yuki said.
"You bet." Ellen winked and I focused back on King Henry and his knights.
"But sir, why are we hiding?" One of his knights asked.
"I just want to run away and let go of my responsibilities. The city don't need me anyway." He said proudly and sipped his drink. I stared at him in disgust.
"What a horrible king." Ellen muttered again that made Yuki snapped.
"Would you shut up Ellen." Yuki said nicely that made Ellen hug me again tight.
