Chapter 7 - Weirdness「Part 1」

Steven's POV

"Goodbye Steven, Dad, and Princess." I heard her whisper. I was too curious so I quietly crept into her room. I picked Princess up and noticed a glowing portal, filling the room with light. Curiosity had gotten the better of me so I reach out into the portal...

"Am I dead now?" I asked myself, holding my head in my hands.

"WHAT THE HECK I'M IN A GIRL'S CLOSET! WHAT! WHAT!!" I looked around at the girl's clothes and covered my mouth with my hand. What if someone heard me? I quietly opened the door of the closet. I was shocked again to see Sarah talking to a ghost.

"Good morning, Sarah!" I said, standing up and stretching my legs.

"Steven?" Sarah questioned, incredulously. "What are you doing here?"

"I dunno. Just entered the portal then... I'm here now," I said, dramatically gesturing to myself.

Meow

"Aww, you brought Princess? Thanks Steven." she picked up the cat.

"Welcome. It was no big deal," I looked away, pretending to be in interested in something else. She probably thinks I'm a hero now.

"Wanna eat downstairs? I'm starving here," she asked, mostly to the cat.

"Okay then," I said, a little offended. 'No big deal'? Of course it was a big deal! I reunited you with your precious cat!

I made cat food on the other side of the table where Sarah put Princess. I also noticed Sarah and the ghost talking. I ignored them because the food here was too good not to pay attention to.

When I finished eating, they were still talking. I smiled. They look like a cute couple. I brought Princess upstairs with me and turned on the television. One disadvantage of this planet was that they don't have many sad movies. I want sad movies. I want to cry. I want a tragic scene. That definitely completes my day.

I couldn't see the TV because the ghost guy was standing in front of it.

"Can you move?" I asked, getting irritated.

He ignores me and he said something to Princess, which is REALLY REALLY WEIRD! Is this guy crazy?

"I'm John. Here. Take this," He turned to me and hands me a pill.

"What is this?" I asked, taking it from him curiously.

"It's a pill that opens your powers while you're here. Your mission is to protect Sarah." He looked pretty serious.

"Okay," I swallowed the pill and after a while, I felt weird. My body was tired now then I fell unconscious.

I woke up stressed and haggard and I have no idea why. I looked up to see that Princess got a new house. A small cat house. Where did this come from?

"Meow" Princess looked up at me.

"Awww, this is so cute. You made this Steven?" she asked in surprise.

"Um-mm. Yeah," I lied.

"Good. from now on you and Princess will live here in this room. Isn't that good news? Also, my dad agreed that we can share the room. I'll get the other bed since this room is big enough for both of us," Sarah said and left the room. She looked really excited. I could see it in her eyes.

Sarah's POV

As I entered the room, everything's still in place. Steven was sitting on my bed, thinking and my Princess was in her house. I have no idea how the hell Steven made that house for Princess. I moved it out of the way.
