Sweet as Suga

Lily's POV

Today is the day FINALLY...my graduation from high school. Time to say goodbye to this hell and the people in it. I already got up and had a shower and now was looking down at this white dress Hobi's eomma brought me for today. It's been over a year since I wore a dress. Just then my phone dinged.
Hobi- "Graduation day!!!!"
Lily- "I know. I'm so excited!"
Hobi- "I'm glad."
Hobi- "I'm bringing Bangtan with me today. Is that ok?"
Lily- "So Yoongi is coming too?"
Hobi- "Ne.....is that ok?"
Lily- "Yeah 😁"
Hobi- "Just focus on getting ready."
Hobi- "Oh and don't trip and fall on the stage. Hahaha"
Lily- "WHAT??? How could you? Now I'm going to be nervous."
Hobi- "Ani you won't. You will be fine. See you there."
Lily- "Ok bye!"
I put on the white dress and sat in front of my makeup vanity. I looked in the mirror and ran my finger over the small scar under my left eye. I don't understand what I ever did to receive such pain. I began to cover the scar with makeup. I continued to put on all my makeup and the brush my hair. I grabbed my eomma's white flower crown she wore the day she married my appa. I miss her so much. I wish she could have been here to see me graduate. I fought the tears back and grabbed my black high heels and slipped them on.
I walked down stairs to see my appa and Hobi's eomma. Mrs. Jung has always been like a second eomma to me, but these days she has stepped up and filled in for my eomma. "You look stunning sweetheart." my appa said. "Ne, you really should start wearing more dresses sweetie." Mrs. Jung said. "Thanks. Can we go now?" I responded and headed towards the door.

We arrived at the venue for graduation and I left to join the rest of my graduating class. The principal came and told us all how everything was going to go. We then were told to go and take a seat. I sat there listening to the principal and teachers talk about our futures. Then they began to call students names to come up and receive there certificate. I don't know why put I was starting to feel nervous as the names were getting closer to mine. So I looked up to the crowd and looked for Hobi. He has always been my strength. I was scanning till I made eye contact with.... Yoongi. He stood up and gave me a huge gummy smile. I smiled back really big and then got embarrassed so I looked away quickly. "Park May-Li" I stood up and walked to the center of the stage. My principal handed me my certificate and then we turned to the photographer for a photo. I heard yelling and applause, so I looked up and saw Bangtan, my appa, and Mrs. Jung all standing. I got so embarrassed that I hurried off the stage and returned to my seat.

After the graduation ceremony I found my appa and everyone. "I'm so proud of you." my appa said as he hugged me and kissed the top of my head. "Thanks appa." I replied. Everyone gave me a hug as well. "These are from all of us." Seokjin said as he handed me a bouquet of flowers. "Thanks guys, I love them." I said. "Let's go eat!" Hobi said as he threw his arm around me shoulder.

We arrived at the restaurant and we were seated at very large table. I sat in between Hobi and Yoongi. As we were eating and talking a felt something touch my right thigh. I looked down and saw Yoongi holding a small box. I looked up at him. He was talking with Namjoon and pretenting nothing was happening under the table. "Excuse me for a moment, I'll be back." I said and took the box from his hand and left the table. I went to the washroom and opened the small box. Inside I found a silver bracelet with a few charms on it. As I was looking at the different charms, I heard a knock on the door. I put the bracelet back in box and opened the door. I saw Yoongi standing outside. "Do you like it?" he asked. "Ne. It's beautiful. Thank you." I replied. He took the bracelet out of the box. "Give me your hand." he said. He then put the bracelet on my left wrist. "What are the charms?" I asked after he put it on. "This one is for graduating. This flower is for your name and this letter Y is for me." he said as he pointed to each charm. "Thank you. No one has ever giving me such a thoughtful gift before." I said and the hugged him. "Your welcome. Go back to the table, I'll follow in a bit." he replied. "Oh and you look stunning in that dress by the way." he whipered in my ear before we broke our hug and I returned to the table.
