The twins have always been together through everything even when people wanted to become their friends
they just pushed them away but there was one little girl
who the twins loved even if they didnt show it when they were younger she was their only true friend.
Her name was (y/n) she was kind, caring and little bit shy but she always spoke her mind and if she did something she always stuck to it .
"Hi hikaru and hi kaoru" (y/n) says
"Go away and stop bothering us" they say
"I just wanted to ask if you would like to build a snowman with me"
"Which one if us are you talking to" they said in unison
"Both of you silly" (y/n) says she blushes a bit from the cold
The twins look at each other for a second before saying "theres no one here called both of you"
"Ok then im talking to hikaru and kaoru"(y/n) states to the twins
"Oh really which of us is hikaru and which one of us is kaoru" the twins spoke
(Y/n) frowned,looked at the twins for a moment before answering
"the twin on the left is kaoru and the twin on the right is hikaru" she spoke confidently,
they both looked shocked for a second then brought their emotionless faces back
"you were right but we dont want to play with an annoying little brat like you so leave us alone" the twins said in unison
(y/n)'s eyes filled with tears as she nodded leaving the twins alone.
(They were 6 years old here)
-------4 years later-------
( It is winter)
"Hello hikaru and kaoru it's a great day isn't it"
a happy 10 year old (y/n) said smiling
"your right (y/n) it was a good day before you came and bothered us" they chuckled meanly
(dont know if meanly is a word but pretend it is ok?)
The young girl sighed
"are you still going to pretend that you don't want friends even though i know you do,
hikaru and kaoru i have known you since we were three years old and i know that your afraid
no one will be able to tell you apart and sometimes that may be true that they wont tell you apart,
but if you dont let people get to know you then no one will ever be able to tell you apart not even me and i have tried
to get to know you for years but you dont let anyone into your hearts because your scared but you dont have to be."
By the end of her rant (y/n) was crying and so were the twins.
---- twins p.o.v ------
Shes right we are afraid no one will be able to tell us apart so we've always pushed people away but we dont need to anymore , (y/n)'s right we need to let people in and we need to apologize to her for being so cruel to her all these years
But it was only because we afraid so much that we had thought even (y/n) couldn't tell us apart.
Her voice breaks us out of our thoughts
"Dont worry anymore though because i give up ok? I give up on trying."
We go to speak but shes already walking away.
-------(y/n)'s p.o.v -------
After all the tourment and cruel jokes i cant take it anymore
I tried for so long i truly did but i cant try anymore
Hikaru and kaoru Hitachinn have finally broken me
"Dont worry anymore though because i give up ok? I give up on trying." I walk away tears still going down my cheeks
As i walk through the garden i find my favourite spot and sit watching the snow...
