Chapter 2

Thorax

We sat on the campsite where I met my sisters' friends who were also Dragon Riders. TJ told them about the revelation that Artemis and Mindy had me as a brother long ago, and also that Mindy bravely tamed a new species of Dragon type.

Sam said, "Wow, Mindy, that is incredible! I never thought that you trained one of the most unusual Dragon like the Sand Wraith." 

TJ asks, curiously, "The Sand Wraith?" Sam went through his pocket and pulled out a deck of information cards. 

"Whoa, what is that, Sam?" Trent asks, looking at the Deck of cards. 

Sam said, rubbing his hand, "I kind of made a Book of Dragon to go cards before we left Berk. Fishlegs didn't see it, but I didn't want him to worry."

TJ smiled, "You really are his nephew, aren't you?" Sam shrug as he pulled out the information about the Sand Wraith.

"Sand Wraith is a Tidal Class Dragon. It is an expert of camouflage in the sand. It can be easy to surprise their prey... and avoid getting sun burn." Sam read.

I said, "Wow, it seems Sandy is impressive dragon all right." 

Everyone looks at me with a surprise look on their faces. "What?" I asked.

"You gave the Sand Wraith a name, even though you were the person who almost got your sister killed?" Skylar points out.

I rubbed my head, "Oh, yeah. Sorry about that, Min." 

She smiles a bit, but it seems to hurt her that I've been away all this time.

"Where you go? Did you ever look for me and Artemis ever since that day?" Mindy asks.

I sighed, felt remorse, "Well, you see... it was after you and Artemis was taken, I went after you, left Mum and Dad behind. 

Then Ryker found me. He knew how much potential I've to be a Dragon Hunter. It also made me who I am today. 

But I always thought of reuniting with you and Artemis one day. Leaving the village was the most thing I regret for last sixteen years. "

"Thorax, it wasn't your fault. You didn't know where Artemis and Mindy went when Aligarh took them from your village. 

Tames was also taken by the Watchers too. They were inseparable ever since they were kids. They look out for one other, like a family." Ingrid explains Tames' story with my siblings.

"You looked after my siblings. Thank you, Tames. I got a question." 

"What could it be?" Tames ask. "Why your friends call you TJ?"

"Oh, I was named after my grandfather, the old Chief of Dragon Paradise, Tames. He let our father in when he was banished from Berk when he was fifteen and Dragons and Vikings were forbidden to be trained." Tames said, short version. 

"Oh, that would explain much of how you have a dragon of your own." I said. But then I realize something. 

"Oh, my Thor." 

"What?" Artemis ask, concern. 

I said, "I just realized. Ryker is the leader of the Dragon Hunters, and he has Hiccup, Astrid and your grandparents." 

"Then lead the way!" Sam said, mounting into his dragon, but TJ said, "Wait a minute, Sam. Ryker would suspect we're coming. We need to make a plan." 

As I explained of how Ryker is related to Viggo, Ingrid seems to go irate. 

"Oh that's perfect! The least that I'm looking forward to meet him. His brother killed my father!"
