Three weeks have passed and my feelings for Ryan just kept on growing I guess. It's not just a simple crush. I want him to look only at me. I want to be his girl.
"Morning Okasan!" I greeted my mother as I descend the stairs.
"Ready for school?" my mom asked me.
"You bet!"
"I'll go now. I don't want to be late. I'll just eat at our school. Ja ne." I told my mom.
"Bye. Take care then." my mom said.
"Amano-san? I'll be going now. Will you drive me to school?"I asked our driver.
"Yes."
Amano-san drived me to school. On my way to school, I saw Ryan walking alone. I asked Amano-san to stop the car. I opened the window.
"Hey, Ryan. On your way to school?" I asked him.
"Yeah." He replied.
"I can give you a ride to school if you want."
"Sure. Thank you."
He's right beside me. I feel like I'm a character in a shoujo manga right now. My heart is beating fast. I hope he hears nothing.
"How's your day last Friday?" he asked me.
"It was great. Thanks to you. Ahh. Um, I mean to all of my friends. How about you?"
"It's fine I guess."
I wonder what he's thinking about. It seems that he is troubled with something. I want to be of some help.
"Are you alright?" I asked him.
"I'm alright."
"Are you really fine? It looks like there's something wrong. What's troubling you? You can tell me. I'm a good liistener."
"It's nothing. We already reached the school."
"Oh. RIght"
We got out of the car.
"Amano-san, arigatou." I told Amano-san.
Ryan and I headed to Mr. Daniel's class. Angel, Xavier, and Kate are already inside the room.
"Ohayou!" I greeted them.
"Anyeong!" Angel greeted us.
"Mornin' " Kate and Xavier greeted us.
Kate pulled me towards her.
"How is it going? How come Ryan is with you when you entered the room?" she asked me.
"Nothing, really. I just saw him walking so I gave him a ride. It's not much of a deal right?"
"I guess but I'm sure you two talked about something. Spill it out."
"Well, he looked troubled so I asked him about it but he said that it was nothing."
"Good morning!" Mr. Daniel greeted us.
"Maybe we should discuss this later." Kate told me.
"Yeah."
After an hour the class was over. Mr. Daniel gave us assignments then we went out of the room. Ryan, Xavier and Angel are having their own conversation behind Kate and me.
"Let's continue where we left off." Kate told me.
"Actually, that was all."
"You sure?"
"Yup."
"You better be closer to him." Kate advised me.
"Hey, what are whispering about?" Angel asked us.
"It's nothing, really." I told her.
"Hey, my feelings are hurt. Let me join the conversation." Angel told us.
I ended up telling her my feelings for Ryan.
"Well, he's popular and all so I guess that's natural." Angel said.
"It's not just like that. I can't express it in words." I told her.
"Hi girls!" Aaron de la Vega approached us.
"Who is he?" Kate asked.
"He's my classmate in my next class. He's Aaron de la Vega." I informed Kate and Angel.
"Claire, are you on your way to the classroom?" Aaron asked me.
"Oh. Yeah." I told him.
"I'll go with you then." Aaron offered.
"Sure. " I told him.
"Guys, I got to go. Kate, let's go."
Aaron, Kate and I started to walk.
"Claire, we didn't have the time to talk last Friday, huh?" Aaron said.
"Well, yeah. We are all busy after all." I told him.
"Can you accompany me to the wash room?" Kate asked me.
"No problem." I told Kate.
"Aaron, you can go ahead of us." I told him.
"It can't be helped, I guess. See you in the room." Aaron said.
Kate nudged me.
"Can't you see that he likes you?" Kate told me.
"Who?"
"Are you blind?"
"Am not. Who?"
"Aaron de la Vega. He's been like that ever since the start. Can't you feel the aura's he's been letting out?"
"Nope and besides I have someone I like right now, you know."
"Yeah, I know that but be careful alright?"
"Be careful of what?"
"Be careful around that guy, I bet he's up to no good?"
"Kate, you shouldn't judge people like that."
"I didn't mean.. Ah.. You're clueless. Well, whatever."
After that class, Kate and I headed to our meeting area with Ryan, Angel and Xavier to eat lunch.
Eating with my friends makes me happy but staring at Ryan's face makes me feel like I'm in heaven. He still looks like he's troubled. I wonder what's bothering him? I guess it doesn't matter right now. I'll know more about him in the future. There is one thing I know though, the fact that I love him. Ai shiteru Ryan.
