"Thanks for waiting." Angel said.
"Here are your snacks. Eat your fill." Xavier told us.
We ate while talking to each other.
"I'm happy to be hanging out with you guys." I told them.
"And so are we." Ryan looked at me in the eyes with his hypnotic eyes.
I feel like I'm melting. He really is a good man.
"Well, it's nice to know that the feelings mutual." I told them while smiling.
"Hey, let's all exchange numbers. What do you think?" Angel said.
We all agreed. I can't express the happiness that I feel right now. I have his number. What more can I ask for?
"Now that we're all here, how about we introduce ourselves and share something just like getting to know each other?" Kate suggested.
"Sounds fun to me." Xavier said.
"Yosh. Who'll start?" I asked.
"Let me get started. Aright. I'm Angel Sanchez. I'm the only daughter of John Sanchez and Adelina Sanchez. I'm into Koreanovelas and I haven't tried watching anime and be hooked up with it. I love eating something sweet. I was born on August 14, 1997. And um, I am thankful that we are getting along with each other. I think those are the basic things about myself that you should know about. Thank you for hearing me out."
"Hey, do you have a boyfriend?" Xavier asked Angel. Everyone else stared at him.
"What's that supposed to mean Xavier? Are you interested in Angel?" Kate teased.
"Nah. Just asking. So, Angel do you have a boyfriend?" Xavier asked again.
"Well, I don't have a boyfriend at the moment. I'm enjoying a single life." Angel replied.
"Well, let's move on. I'm next. I'm Ryan Chiba. My father is Narumi Chiba and my mother is Grace Chiba. You already know that I'm half-Japanese and the fact that I love anime and manga. March 25, 1997 is my birthday. I particularly love Bleach and Nurarihyon No Mago. You should try watching them. That's all I want to say I guess."
Does he have a girlfriend? Ugh. I want to know. I want to ask but the others might put some meaning to it. I'll know eventually, I guess.
"Do you have a girlfriend? I asked because I'm just curious. Don't put some kind of meaning to it. It's just that Ryan seems to be popular, you see." Kate asked Ryan.
"Well, I don't have a girlfriend." Ryan answered.
"The girls will be overjoyed when they hear this. I’m sure of it. Hahaha." Kate said.
I glanced at Kate and we've come to an understanding. I bet Kate knows that I kind of have a crush on Ryan. I thanked her silently.
"My turn. I'm Claire Kashino. Celine Kashino and Tadase Kashino are my parents. I love anime and manga as you already know. I'm into romance, adventure, shoujo, shounen, school life, slice of life. My birthday was on February 28, 1998.Hmm, my dream's to travel around the world to perform. That is all. Thanks for listening."
"Okay. My name's Xavier Santos. I'm a son of Richard Santos and Carmen Santos. I'm I'm also into anime. September 21, 1997 is my birthday. I like pretty girls with long straight hair, and good personality. It would be nice if I will have a girlfriend. Don't you think so?" He said with an amused face while staring at Angel.
Angel is blushing. I guess Xavier is interested on Angel after all. And it seems that my first impression that he's a quiet type is wrong too. I guess I suck at judging people.
"Alright. I hate to break the sweet atmosphere but let me talk hahaha. You can continue that later. Just kidding. I'm the last one. I'm Kate Cruz. My father's name is Darius Cruz while my mother's name is Delilah Cruz. Just to let you know, I like observing people. Oh, and like the most of you I also like anime and manga. I was born on November 10, 1997."
"It's nice to know more about you guys. Well, I guess it's time to go to our next class. It will not be good if we come late." I said.
"Yeah. Let's." Ryan said.
It turns out that Mr. Daniel's class is the only class we'll all be together but Kate is with me for the next class.
"As I've said, I'm an observant Claire. Do you like Ryan?" Kate asked me.
"Well, I don't know if it's that kind of like but I do admire him. He's cool." I told her.
"I guess so." she said.
We entered our classroom and get acquainted with everybody else. I got acquainted with Aaron de la Vega. He introduced himself to me. He seems to be kind and popular. The class started and I did my best.
I attended all of my classes and got acquainted with different people. It's fun to think that I'm now enjoying my life as a university student. After all my classes, I headed straight at home to get started with my school works. I'm already satisfied with my social life for now. I need to focus also on my studies to make my parents proud.
