I'm Claire Kashino. I'm half-Japanese. My mom, Celine Kashino is a Filipina and my dad, Tadase Kashino is Japanese which is why I'm a certified otaku, I guess. I'm sixteen years old and an incoming second year high school student if I stayed in Japan and studied there. I'm in the Philippines now, in Quezon City, specifically. My parents decided to bring me here to be able to know more about Okasan's country and I'm pretty excited myself. I'm going to be a first year college student in Evergreen University starting tomorrow.
I'm really excited in exploring the Philippines so I asked my mother to accompany me in buying some things from the department store. We headed out and asked Amano-san to drive the car for us.
My mother went in a restaurant while I bought plenty of novels which seem to interest me and some manga I really love from a bookstore. As I carry them to the counter, I bumped into a totally dazzling guy. I dropped the books and he helped me pick the books I dropped.
"These books sure are plenty, want me to help you?" he asked with a smile on his face.
"Ariga- I mean thanks." I said as I pick up the last book lying on the floor.
He helped me carry the books to the counter and said goodbye. Okasan seemed to be finished eating because I saw her going towards the parking area. After paying, I went out carrying the books. Three strange-looking guys who seem to be after my bag ran towards me. I dropped the books.Oone charged at me but before he knew it, he fell to his knees. I used mae-geri against him. The other two helped the one who attacked me to stand and they ran away.
"That was totally cool!" said the dazzling guy from last time, "I was totally not needed."
"Oh, so you intended to help me. Thanks. By the way - " I didn't finish asking his name thanks to the ringing of my phone. I answered it and it was my mom telling me to hurry up.
"I better get going. Bye. Thanks." I said while rushing to the parking area.
"Yeah.Sure."
I went in the car and we headed home.
