Today is my first day in my new school. I have literally moved here from England 2 weeks ago as my mom had to relocate for work and Dad just opened up a restaurant. You may say i'm one of those "Rich" kids, but i don't like being called that. Hopefully i have a nice person showing me around today as every school in England always has the most dickish students show the newbies around. I get up and walk to my bathroom to have a shower. I strip from my PJ's and stand in the shower. The warm beads of water run down my back and make my hair soaked. I quickly wash my hair and body, I get out do my teeth and dry my hair brush it, i decide to leave it down for once. I then walk to my closet and try to pick a nice outfit that shows off my personality. I choose an outfit and put it on. I walk to my mirror and look at myself. Perfect, i put some eyeliner on and strawberry lip balm and my look is complete. I put everything i need into my bag and walk downstairs. "Good morning baby girl you ready for your first day?" My mum questioned me. I just nodded gabbed a piece of toast and my car keys and walked to my car. I got in plugged the AUX port in and listened to music on my drive to school.

I get to the school grab my bag from the passenger seat and unplug my phone from the AUX port. I get out of the car and walk towards the building, the place was huge way bigger than the schools back in England. I walk to the Principals office for a meeting. I walk in and am greeted by the principal and a young lad who looks about my age. "Good morning Miss Tremaine, I am Principal Simpson. This here is Miles Hollingsworth, you will be following him today as you are both in the same classes." "Thanks so much for the nice welcome, I am really happy to be here." I quickly reply. "I have spoken to your period one teacher and said neither of you will be attending today as Miles is taking you on a tour of the school. So any problems come and speak to me." 

Me and Miles walk out of the room and start to walk to the front of the school. Miles finally says something "So you are from England, moving here must be completely different." "Yea it is, i don't know anyone so its kinda difficult at the moment ya know," i say adjusting me beanie. "Hey you know me now i guess so you are not so alone. Your family are the ones who moved in next door to me so if you got any problems you can always come around." He says smiling. "Oh so you are the ones with the big outdoor pool, ours is inside." he nods and we both walk around getting to know each other. He seems so nice and seems like someone i could get to be close with. We exchange numbers and he walks away to find his friends, as he does he shouts back to me "Welcome to Degrassi Em." I go outside and sit on a bench. I get my phone out and message my friends back home telling them about the school and Miles. They all seem so happy that i'm happy. Suddenly an arm wraps around my shoulder, i freak out a bit then realise its just Miles, "Hey you scared me, don't do that again." He smiles at me then introduces me to this girl he is with. "Emerald this is Zoe Rives, i think you guys will get on very well." She walks over to me and hugs me. "Hi Zoe, Thanks Miles," i say and nudge him and he nearly falls off the bench. He then hugs me and walks away leaving me with Zoe. We sit there chatting away when the bell rings we exchange numbers and part. I am about to text Miles to find out where he is and a pair of hands wrap around my shoulders. "Hi Miles i was just about to message you." "AWW cute did someone miss me that much." I roll my eyes, "No because i need to know where our class is dummy," We both laugh and walk to class.
