Chapter 2

Griff's pov:
The next morning and the night of the dance, I wanted to ask Maddie to come with me but I was too scared, the morning of the dance I was playing kickball with Tiffany, Zuri and Xander, After the game we were sitting on the benches talking with, Zuri, Tiffany, Xander, Emma, Ravi, Jorge and Lou, Maddie was still sleeping, but at before lunch she woke and she looked beautiful as always
Maddie's pov:
I woke the next day with my hair messed up, and got ready before going in for lunch, I wore this

I looked into the mirror as I braided my brown hair, when I got out of the cabin, Tiff and Zuri were waiting for me outside to go to lunch, "hey guys" I said walking up to them, "hey Mads" said Zuri, "hey Maddie" said Tiffany, we walked into the luchroom, and picked our trays, Jorge was serving lunch today, Griff was in front of us "hey Mads" he said walking out, "man he looks so cute in that hat" said Zuri, "yeah, and he's so cool" said Tiff, "really guys" I said giggling at them, "come on Mads, you have to admit it" said Tiff looking at me, "fine he is pretty cute" i said smiling at the now drooling girls, "guys, your drooling" I said laughing at them, "I hope he takes me to the dance tonight" said Zuri, "no, he's going to the dance with me, "maybe he'll go with me I said smiling at them, "it's on" Zuri said looking at us, we left
Jorge's pov:
I was under the counter where the girls were standing cause I had dropped something, that's when I heard them talking that they wanted to go to the dance with me, I quickly ran to Grizzly Cabin, and there was Griff reading a comic, "Dude, Tiffany, Zuri, and Maddie want me!" I said excited to Griff, "to...leave them alone" Griff answered, "No, they want to go to the dance with me" I said, "how are you so sure?" Griff said looking at me, "they were complimenting me, Well Zuri said how I looked cool in the hat, Tiffany said how cool I was, and Maddie said how cute I was, I'm sorry bro, I know you like Maddie, but hey" I said, "yeah, dude go for it, wait does that mean you'll finally shower?" Griff said , "no dude this is working, why would I do that" he said walking out of the room
Griff's pov:
Knowing that Maddie thought Jorge was cute, stung me, I was..Jealous? I was, I really liked her, and now she's going for my best friend, that's when she walked inside, "hey Griff" she said, "hey Mads" i said standing up from my bed, "I hear that you think Jorge was cute" I said looking at her in the eyes, "Jorge? No, it was another guy why?" She said looking at me in the eyes, "he came in saying how you, Tiffany, and Zuri were talking about him" I said, "no, we meant another guy" she said, "what do we do?" I asked her, "well we can't tell him, cause he'll be heartbroken, and Tiffany and Zuri don't know he thinks it's him, you see my point?" She said looking at me, "yeah, ok then" I said as she went to pick her bag into her arms, "you know it's time to get ready for the dance right?" She said, "yeah" I said, she left, shoot I didn't ask her at all if she wanted to go with me, I'll ask her there.
I got out the bathroom, with my clothes on, as Maddie came inside the cabin, "hey, looking good Griff" she said walking it the bathroom with her clothes, "thanks Mads" I said walking outside to the great lawn.
Maddie's pov:
Griff looked really nice, and it was time for me to get ready, I wore this dress

I think I look pretty good, I went out to the great lawn, I could spot Griff walking towards Tiffany and Zuri, so I went with them. Griff looked at me with shock on his face, "Maddie, you look..Wow" he said looking at me and smiling, " thanks Griff" I said smiling, "Hey Griff" said Zuri as she walked with Tiffany, "hey girls" Griff said, "you look pretty" he said looking at them, "so Griff you want t.." Zuri started before Jorge walked in, "hey girls" he said, "hi Jorge" we all said, "so who's the lucky one" Jorge said looking at me, Zuri and Tiffany, "Jorge, I think you got confused, when you heard us talking, we were talking about Griff" Zuri said, "what?! The three of you?" He asked with tears in his eyes, "yeah" I said looking at him, "are you ok man?" Griff asked, "yeah man, I just need to be somewhere else" Jorge said running towards the cabin, "oh man, I feel bad for Jorge" Griff said looking at me, "so uh, Griff you wanna dance?" Zuri said smiling, "Zuri! Not now!" I said looking at her as me and Griff ran towards our cabin.
"Hey J-Dog" said Griff, "are you ok" I asked, "of course you, Zuri and Tiffany wanted to dance with Griff, he's the exciting bad boy, of course you like him, I guess I'm just not cool" he said with tears in his eyes, "are you kidding me? Your one of the coolest guys I've ever met" Griff said, "Really? How am I cool?" Jorge asked, Griff took a long time thinking that I had to say something, "Jorge, your sweet, nice, goofy, and we love you that way" I said smiling at him, "Really?" He asked, "Yeah, and if those girls don't see that their loss, they're a lot of other cute girls out there, go dance with them" Griff said, "But I embarrassed myself" Jorge said, "so what, we all embarrass ourselves once, in our lifetime. Have you met Ravi?" I said, "Go out there man" Griff said, "ok, thanks guys you really are great friends" Jorge said, I felt super cool for that, I went closer to Jorge as he standed up and kissed his cheek, I saw Griff looking with jealousy, "we love you Jorge" I said as I took my lips out his cheek, "me too guys" he said running outside, Griff and I also got out the cabin.
There was a slow song playing, and I was sitting on the bench, and Griff came and standed in front of me, "Mads?" He said, "Yes Griff?" I asked, "will you dance with me?" He asked, "of course" I said, while we were dancing he said, "so you think I'm cute?", "What?" I asked, "You said that you, Tiffany and Zuri were talking about me so?" He said, "yeah..I've always thought you were cute" I said, Griff blushed and stared at me, and he said "I like you Mads, I do", "I..I like you too Griff" I said as I pulled him in for a kiss, then everyone staring and cheering, we laughed it out.
