A/N: It took so long because I had to check for typos and fix them, and update this, I'm so sorry I still hope you enjoy Maddie's pov: As you may have noticed my dad doesn't like when people call me by nicknames, he says it's a way of making fun of their name, he likes people to call me Madison, but when he's not around I tell people to call me Mads or Maddie. I'm so happy for what Griff did, no ones ever stand up to my dad like that, or defended me like that. I went to the Mess hall to find Griff. Dad was with Xander talking about me, what has been good for me, if I enjoyed it here, Griff, stuff like that. "Hey Griff?" I said walking to where he was sitting, "Yeah?" He asked, "You got a second?" I asked him, "Yeah" he said standing up, "Not here" I said looking around, "Let's go to the lake" he suggested, "Ok" I said walking out. We got to the lake. "So, what're you going to talk with me about?" He said while we sat on the dock, "I just wanted to say, that I've never had anyone to stand up to my father like that, or defend me" I started, "Anything for you" he said, "I got exciting news" I said, "My father let me stay at camp Kikiwaka, but he said that you had to take care of me" I said with a smile on my face, "Really?!" He said staring at me, "Yeah, after that whole speech you gave to my father, you convinced him" I said looking at my feet then back to him, he started tickling me, and I started giggling at laughing, "L-let go!" I laughed, I stood up and he did the same and kept giggling, "W-what can I-i do to make you stop?!" I said laughing, "Nothing he said smiling, I quickly thought about him when it flowed to my mind, i pulled him in and kissed him, after that I ran away, "Hey! That's not fair!" He screamed, I laughed and ran away. Griff's pov: I've never seen Maddie have that much fun in ages, the last time we had this much fun we were stealing a tv. I went outside our cabin and saw dear Woodchucks and Grizzlys united I went to them, "Ah, Good Morning Mads" Emma, Zuri and Griff said, "Hey guys, where's Lou and Xander and every counselor?" I said pointing to the great lawn with 50 campers and 0 counselors, "Well, Emma and I are responsible to hold safety week, while the counselors are away in town all week, which we have time to show all of you the safety ways" he said looking at me, "Ok then" I said, "Come on, we're stuck with them for the week. Time skip Zuri, Griff, Luke and I (yes Luke, he's a Ross brother, got stuck in summer school, is here on safety week) we're now in the woods, Luke was taking us to climb a mountain. When we got to the top of the mountain, Zuri slipped Griff grabbed her wrist, but they both fell, they fell onto a rock on the mountain, "Griff! Zuri!" Luke screamed from the top with me, "Hold on" Luke said, I was looking to see if they were still there and slipped a lot more up front than the rock they were on, "No!" Griff screamed from the rock, I fell under the rock hanging from a branch stuck to the rock, "Maddie!!" Zuri screamed with tears rolling down her cheek, "I could've hold Madison, but I- this is my fault" Luke said from the top crying, I've known Luke for 5 years, "Guys!" I screamed, they looked down and saw me hanging over the branch, "Help!" I screamed, as Zuri and Griff pulled me up to the rock, "Babe!" Griff said hugging me, "Maddie!" Zuri said pulling me out of Griff's arms and hugged me, "Madison, you ok?" Luke asked from above, "I'm fine and this wasn't you fault" i said looking up at him, "Don't move guys I'm coming to get you" he said trying to hang over a branch, "Where would we go?" Zuri said, "I'm slipping, Im slipping!" Luke said before falling to the rock with us three, "Great, just great" I said looking at Luke Time skip Emma and Ravi arrived to help us, "Zuri your first" Luke said tying a rope around Zuri's waist, "That's the smartest thing you've said all day" Zuri said, while she was pulled up, "Mads your next" he said tying a rope around my waist, when I was pulled it was Griff's turn to come up, he came up and I hugged him, when Luke was coming up we noticed the rope starting to break, "The rope!" I screamed, as Ravi jumped and caught Luke's wrist, "Pull me!" Ravi screamed. We all got out the mountain safely, Luke left, and we all gathered around the bonfire Griff's pov: "Has anyone seen Maddie?" I asked around, "I think she's by the lake" Zuri answered, "ok" I said walking to the river. "Hey Mads" I said walking towards her, "hey" she answered looking at the water, "You'd think I'd forget that it was your birthday?" I said holding her chin, she gave me a sad smile, "no, I knew you hadn't forgotten but-" she said "but what?" I asked, "Everyone at camp forgot it was my birthday, even my best friend, and the only people that has always celebrated my birthday with me are Lou and Xander, and they're on that stupid counselor trip" she said sadly, "Hey-I'm here, and I will spend your birthday with you" I said, "Just forget it" she said running away with tears in her eyes. I went back to the bonfire, "guys" I said looking at everybody, they looked at me, "I need everyone's help throwing a birthday party for Madison" I said, "Oh no! It totally slipped my mind it was her birthday today!" Zuri said sad, "we're here to help" Ravi and Jorge said looking at me, "ok then, Zuri and Tiffany, your uncharged to make sure that Maddie doesn't leave her room, Jorge I need you to go and find supplies in town with Ravi, and on your way there buy a cake, and Emma I need you to call Lou and Xander to come back to camp and that we're throwing a surprise birthday party for Maddie. "Consider if done" Emma said taking out her big pink phone. I hope this goes well. Everything was in place and we were ready, Lou and Xander arrived and hid themselves, I went inside the cabin where I found Tiffany, Zuri and Maddie talking, "Hey guys could you come outside real quick?" I asked, "Sure" Maddie said standing up with the others, she went outside, and saw everything, "Surprise Mads!" Zuri and Tiffany screamed as Emma, Jorge and Ravi came out, she had smile on her face, we went up to her and started walking in for a hug, I noticed she a had a little frown on her face as we hugged her, "I love you sis,happy birthday" she turned to find Xander and Lou holding some flowers for her, she ran up to them and hugged them, she then turned around and ran back to me kissing me, I kissed back, "This is the best birthday ever, thanks Griff!" She said as she pulled away, "Oh here" I said handing her a box with written: "To The best girlfriend in the world (Madison) from Griff❤️ She smiled and blushed as she opened the box in awe, "I love this!" She said
