Chapter 6

The next morning
Maddie's pov:
I woke up the next morning and got ready

I had to go to arts and crafts to make toys for Christmas, Ravi and Lou were planning on giving it to kids on the street. I decided I would also make something for Griff. I decided to make Griff a reminder from when we first met.
7 years ago (this is from a third person's point of view not anyone in particular)
A 7 year old girl was running down the streets at night, carrying a duffel bag with a diamond necklace, food,  and 3 gold watches. She ran and found a dark spot and took out her stolen phone, (it is the one she has now) she quickly rang somebody, "Papa, I'm here, hurry up the police are after me!" She said breathing heavily, "The police?" Asked the person who turned to be her biological dad (not Xander's dad, I told you guys that she's adopted, I meant her biological dad)  "Yes, come on Papa hurry up!" She said looking for the policemen, "Well then sorry kid, your on your own, I knew they we're going to get you one day, wich is why I always book a plane, and that's exactly what I did, your on your own Madison Alexandra Brookee" (Brookee, is her real last name) said her dad over the phone, "No! Papa you can't leave me alone!" She said, beep beep beep, the line was cut out, "Great, just what I needed" said Madison talking to her self, "Where's the girl?!" Said a policeman, Madison ran as fast as she could with the duffel bag over her shoulder, she suddenly stopped, when she tripped over a boy, they both landed on the floor, "Ow" she said, "What the heck are you doing out at night?" The boy asked standing up and offering her a hand, "I don't need your help, and it's none of your business" Madison said picking up her duffel bag looking at the boy, "Oh I see, little miss bad chick is stealing now eh?" He said smirking, Oh shut up you-" she got cut off when they heard, "Quick! Over there!" The policemen said, they looked at each other, the boy took her wrist and ran, ran and ran as fast as they could.
They then arrived at an abandoned house which inside had a T.V, a kitchen, one room, it was a small house but the boy seemed to know what he was doing, "What the heck are you doing?! Are you trying to get us both killed, sneaking into private property?! She said rubbing her now ached wrist, "This is my house" he said, "Your..Your house, where are your parents?" Madison asked, "I don't know, they abandoned m" he answered, "Anyways, where are your parents?" He asked, "Well my mom died in a car crash, and my dad was a wreck since then and made me steal otherwise he would have me dead" she explained to him, "He left me out tonight, he told me to go stealing, he would always pick me up in his truck and go back home, but tonight I told him the police was chasing me and he backed down, he booked a flight to who knows where?" She said looking down at the floor, "Anyways make your self comfortable" he said looking at her, "And what's your name?" He asked before entering the room, "Madison Brookee" she said looking at his eyes, "Griff, Griff Jones" he then entered the room.
He got out changed, "Hey you got something I could wear" she said pointing at her muddy clothes, "Sure" he said handing her a green camo shirt, and since then that was the reminder she wanted to get him.
The police caught them after 4 months, and they went to juvie for their crimes, after she got adopted and he got released to go to Camp Kikiwaka.
End of 7 years ago
Back to the present
I went to fetch the green camo shirt and putted it neatly in a box, she then saw Griff with a machine, "Time to, wreck the halls" he said clicking on the button, the machine destroyed everything in his way, even the gift for Griff, "No!" I said picking up a piece of fabric from the shirt, "That was for you!" I said running away with tears in my eyes and some rolling down my cheek, I passed the great lawn as Xander saw me and took my wrist, "Mads what happened?" He said worryingly, "Griff Jones happened!" I said yelling at him, running towards the cabin.
Xander's pov:
I hate seeing Maddie cry, and angry at the same time, those two do not go together well. I ran to the Mess hall, since it was where Maddie came from, and saw stuffing, fabric and paper all on the floor. "What the heck happened in here?!" I asked looking at Lou and Ravi,  they continued "fake" crying and holding gum drop people, Griff was seating on a bench smiling and eating an apple happy of what he did, "You!" I said angrily, Lou and Ravi stopped and looked at me, " Me" Griff said teasing me, "Your the reason my sister is crying it's your fault! What did you do to her?!" I said pointing at Griff, "She got mad when I turned on my toy, and destroyed a box" he said taking a bite out of his apple, "Yeah, "Toy", it was a DEATH machine" Ravi said, Lou nodding, I went over to where he pointed the box was, "To Griff Jones, from Madison McCormick" I read from the torn box, he quickly got up from the bench dropping his apple to the floor, and walking towards me. "This is the shirt I let her borrow when we met" he said with tears filling his eyes, "I got to find her"  he said wiping his tears, "We're letting you leave because this is your girlfriend and our friend who we care about, but we're going to have a chat about this when you come back" Lou said pointing at Griff, he left the room.
Griff's pov:
Knowing her she would be by the lake she loves it there for some reason, and guess what there she was crying and looking over to the water, "Hey" I said walking behind her, "I guess bad girls cry huh?" She said looking at me and then back to the water, "Yeah I guess, look I'm sorry, I had no idea that was for me" I started to sit down beside her, "it's ok, I'm crying over a stupid thing anyways" she said wiping her tears away, "No, it isn't stupid, it's something from when we first met, something so important, and I tore it apart" I said ashamed of myself, "It's ok, only because I love you and because we're together and a shirt couldn't signify that" she said smiling at me with tears, "I love you" she said putting the ring I gave her up in the air, "I love your too" I said putting my ring in the air, and taking her hand in the process.
Time skips
"Griff, buddy, pal, we're here to have a friendly chat, why did you decide to create such a dangerous "Toy"?" Ravi said, "Because making Christmas toys is lame. Sorry for trying to have a little fun" I said rolling my eyes, "Fun. Is that why you came to Toy making? To have fun?" She said slamming her hands to the table giving me a scare, "No, I came because you guys made me" I said looking at Lou and Ravi, "You broke a bunny and half, bears apart, and little Ms.Sugarbuttons' house. You make me sick, I bet you like that kinda thing" Lou said standing back, "I'm sorry for Lou, she can get a little hot headed. Would you like some water, perhaps some bon-bons? Ravi said, "Guys, I know your playing good cop, bad cop. I've been interrogated before, but never by a cop with his fly down" Griff said smiling, Ravi turned around and zipped his pants, he turned back around, "Those toys were for kids out there who had noth-" Lou started and got cut off by me, "So what?! I don't care about those kids! And why should I?!" I said storming out
Lou's pov:
I watched as Griff left the room mad. "I get it now, Griff is one of those kids, Maddie told me all they got on Christmas was extra visitation hour, but he didn't got anybody to visit him. This is terrible" I said looking at Ravi, thinking if what I said made any sense, "I get it now too. And it is terrible, why wouldn't you tell me my fly was down?" He asked, "Because, I'm the bad cop, I said turning around taking the water bottle, and going out the Mess hall.
I felt badly for Griff which is why I got all his friends, to make him a present and the next day we were going to give him the best Summer-Christmas ever!
The next day
Maddie's pov:
Lou already told all of us what she was planning for Griff, I got ready in the morning really early so I could set up my present down the tree Emma bought and get there quickly,

I got ready and left the cabin, I got to Mess Hall and saw everybody there, I placed my present quickly as i heard somebody say Griff was coming already, when Griff got here, we all yelled "Merry Christmas" we all yelled as Griff walked in, "You all know it's summer right?" Griff said smiling "We felt bad for you and threw you a Christmas" Lou explained, "Thanks Guys" he said, while receiving presents, "Here Griff this one is from me" I said handing him a box, "Mads, you shouldn't have, not after what I did" he said, "Just shut up and open it" i said smiling as he opened it, it was a picture of us on my birthday, with all our friends in the back, his eyes teared up, "Thank you so much Mads" he said pulling me in for a kiss, it was the best day ever for Griff, I loved seeing him smile that much.

A/N: guys, I absolute love this chapter, it took me so long but it was worth it, and I really hope you enjoyed, I won't post more for today right now where I live it's 12:04am so goodnight, I'll write and post tomorrow Chapter 7 and 8, if everything goes well, thank you guys, love you all😘😘
