I was in the flower room of my shop with a girl who was about my age. She was standing awfully close to me when I heard the bell above the door ring.

She was blabbing on about how she needed to buy a bouquet of lilies for her mother. But this bouquet wasn't like any other bouquet it had to be special.

I don't see why that mattered to me but here I was showing her every set of lilies in my shop. I turned around and saw Ashton from the corner of my eye.

The brunette propped himself up against the frame of the door as he watched the girl intently. She placed her arm on my bicep and gazed at me in a way I did not enjoy.

I gulped and tried to shake her hand off my arm but it didn't quite work. I looked over at Ashton with pleading eyes.

"Hi baby" he first said before pecking my cheek and lightly shoving the girl to the side. "I thought I would drop by to see if you wanted to grab some lunch with me." Ashton said looking at me with a smile.

I turned a dark shade of red as he took my hand in his. The girl picked up the hint and backed away awkwardly clearing her throat. "Uh yeah give me a second Ash." I said looking towards the girl.

We walked to the register and she paid for her lilies before she hurried out the door. As the door slammed shut Ashton bursts into a fit of giggles.

"Did you see her face!" He says trying to catch his breath. I smiled at him fondly as he picked up a small bouquet of flowers.

"This is the one because it almost matches that girl's face perfectly." Ashton said pulling out his wallet. I shook my head at him laughing at him softly while taking the few bills he handed me.

He walked into the room resembling a greenhouse with his flower looking around in admiration. And as Ashton admired the beauty of the room, I couldn't help but admire the beauty he brought into the room.

Ashton was a gorgeous man from his beautiful sandy curls to his dirty black converse. This man was truly breathtaking and somehow he stumbled into my shop.

"Why do you come in here every day just to buy one flower?" I asked as he turned to face me, not answering for a few seconds.

"It gives me a reason to see you." He said while shrugging before he connected our eyes.

And I wish I would've known that one simple phrase could make my heart stop. Ashton was truly wonderful and I could not begin to understand why he chose to see me.

"You know I was serious about that lunch date." Ashton said breaking me from my trance. My cheeks turned a darker shade of red and I cleared my throat.

"You said date Ash." I mumbled looking down at my feet. He smiled cheekily at me, "I know I did Luke."

I smiled at him bashfully before dragging him towards the door. I turned around the open sign and locked the door.

Ashton grabbed my hand and pulled me towards a small café. We went inside and the sweet smell quickly embraced us.

"Hi can I have a pink lemonade and a banana nut muffin, what are you having Luke?" Ashton said as we stood at the register. I looked around before deciding on something.

"I'll also have a pink lemonade and a chocolate chip croissant please." I told the cashier with a smile. She nodded and we paid before grabbing our things and sitting at a table outside.

We talked for a little about small things before Ashton's phone began to ring. "I'm sorry one sec." He said before answering.

"I'm still coming, of course. Do you mind if I bring someone?" Ashton said into the phone while glancing up at me. "Alright i'll be there soon, love you too."

My breath caught in my throat as he said those words. Ashton sighed and put his face in his hands. I finished my lemonade before speaking.

"Is everything alright Ash?" I asked in a small voice. He looked up at me and gave me a small smile. He reached out and laced our hands together before nodding.

After a few seconds of silence he finally said, "I want to take you somewhere."

a/n: i finally updated haha, also i made a new cover! i'm going to stick to that flower/box theme for a while. it's simple and i like it.
